Just got this 2013 limited about a month ago and i’m catching up on the maintenance and neglect of the previous owner. I’m currently chasing down an odd intermittent pop sound. I’ve checked the suspension and from what I see I can’t find slop in anything, although there could be something more visible with it loaded. It randomly happens over bumps but the weird thing is it also happens sometimes when I’m getting into the car. But if i hop out and get back in, it doesn’t do it again. Super weird. I do know that the motor mounts are shot, but im not sure if it could cause this. In the video it’s the pop that happens right after i set my foot into the car. If any of you have had something like this and know what it may be i would appreciate it a lot.

‘26 f250 with the 6.8 / 10R100. Looking to get my trans temps down a bit when towing. Right now with as little at 5k behind me my trans will climb up to about 105c (220f) before the factory valve opens up and the temps drop to about 97 (206f) before climbing back up again. I know ford says these things are designed to run hot for efficiency’s sake, but im not convinced that will be conducive to a long lasting transmission. I just got my first transmission service done at 15,000 km and i was surprised at the condition of the fluid after such a short time. I’ve seen people say their temps are dropping anywhere from 10-30f using this valve. It seems to be just an open elbow, allowing coolant to flow freely at all times. I’m wondering if anyone has one of these on their truck and what their experience has been with it. I’m mostly worried about how it will perform in the winter, unloaded, and how long it will take for the trans to warm up.

I was going to buy this to replace my dual bay super charger, but there’s no way at this price point. Nearly $700? Get real. I paid $250 on sale for my current charger and i thought that was steep… Milwaukee is really getting outrageous on certain items.
