As the title states, this is my first time in my life living on my own. I'm trying to make the best of it but it's really difficult and I am honestly overwhelmed with just trying to make myself more liveable while also presentable if I'm ever lucky or willing to bring someone home with me.

The bedroom is mainly what I can focus on at the moment, and I feel like lighting it would make things much better. The posters I brought over from my old house, and while I acknowledge they may be juvenile or cringy, I liked having them on the walls (But will acquiesce that they may need to go). The closet is pretty massive, I have my entire dresser in there so it can stay out of sight if needed.

Right now my only idea furniture wise for the room is to go on FB marketplace and get a wooden chest for the foot of the bed to act as blanket storage and a seat at the foot of the bed.

There is no overhead light or fan, and the light switch seen in picture 3 (behind the cheap Amazon lamp) controls power to the whole room. Any advice on lighting or furnishing would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all, before I get to the meat of my post I just wanted to thank the mods for giving me permission to post this.

I am looking to sell my entire MTG novel collection as a lot to anyone interested in the US. I have confirmed sales on both /r/gamesale and /r/mangaswap for anyone who wants legitimacy. For payment I would prefer we use Paypal (as we are both protected should anything occur).

Most volumes are in good to great condition, with some (Specifically the Invasion cycle of books, my first MTG books ever purchased) being of "acceptable" quality from frequent reading. Please note there are no tears or missing pages in any of the books.

Looking up the market price for each book and taking into account the condition of some of the books I would be looking for $750 for the lot shipped.
