The portability of this scooter is unbeatable even with the upgrade front suspension and pneumatic tire. Downside is just the range of this scooter. 10miles is my maximum range on this one. On full throttle (19mph). Hiboy S2.
Hi, I'm considering to buy a scooter for my main mode of transportation going to work and back. I'm planning to use it on all season except heavy rain and heavy snow. But other than that, it'll be my work horse. I have a background in maintenance of scooter and especially waterproofing important parts of the scooter. The thing is I don't know if it'll still be worth it to buy one and I am located in Suffolk County by the way, not in New York City.
If so which brand is the most reliable and comfortable for all season? Speed atleast 30mph is fine or less. Just need to keep up with traffic.
My budget is at maximum $1,200 below.
Wishing death on someone is diabolical. I don't care whatever he do for work. I don't have a problem with him reminding me. But wishing death for a human being is just pure evil. He shouldn't be working in the ER in the first place. He doesn't belong there. He don't deserve to take care of the people who got into accidents, crash etc.

Hi, did anybody here successfully converted their 8.5inch tires to 10inch tires? And is it recommended to keep tube instead of tubeless? How is it keeping up? No slow leaks or anything? Any response and feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
From solid 8.5" tires to 8.5" pneumatic tires. The difference is night and day! I was very surprised how smooth it drives. I just drilled a hole for the tire valve and sand it and tadaa! I'm very happy and I have no problem mounting the pneumatic and removing the solid tire (obv with force too but as long as you know what you're doing you'll be good)
This suspension makes a lot of difference though even if I'm running solid tires.
Got this installed last night. Took me a good 2-3 hours. I'm testing this thing today for 7.5miles. We'll see how it goes.

I placed an order with them on May 9, they gave me this tracking number from UPS but no movement ever since. I always follow up with them every other day but still no progress. I'm giving them until this Friday and then I am going to file a dispute with the bank and request a refund from them. Is this too much?
I have an extra motor on my hiboy S2 since they replace my old motor with a new one.
I'm curious about how hard is replacing a solid tire. So I decided to practice on removing and mounting it back again. I can't believe how easy it is. I mean, you do really need a working tire spoon, and a screw driver and pair of arms. From removing to mounting it back again, it only took me 30 minutes max.
I didn't have to do the heat gun, or boiling the tires. I just didn't expect that it'll take me less than an hour.
Does anybody experience the same? Been waiting for this forever
I had a problem with my Hiboy S2 front motor for a few months now. It's noisy everytime it spins. But I suspect it's the bearing. Now I messaged their customer service May 11, they responded May 12 and got my new front motor today, May 13. Very superb. Can't say anything negative about their customer service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Does anybody have experience here how long does it take for monorim to ship and deliver their orders? I am in NY btw.
I am eyeing this upgrade kit from monorim for my Hiboy S2 for few weeks now. I am decided to keep my solid tires still but add the suspension.
I don't care whatever the "pneumatic boiz" say. But the peace of mind of not having to think about patching, fixing a flat tire or getting a flat half way is more important for me. I just wanna make my one way 8mile commute a little bit comfortable but keep the same compact size of the scooter since I still have to haul it in my friends trunk going to work and just dropping me of the bus stop (8miles away from home) on his way home.
Any thoughts about the suspension? Does anybody tried this one yet? Any advise?
PS. I don't have plan and funds for upgrading to a faster scooter for now. I am satisfied and feel safe and confident on my current scooter speed which I think matters most.
