Hi everyone, has anyone else experienced UnionBank denying a reversal request twice for a ₱2,500 annual fee even though you were promised a No Annual Fee For Life (NAFFL) status?

I’ve already received two emails from them stating the reversal was denied. The most frustrating part is they informed me they "cannot disclose the reason" as to why it was rejected. I was definitely eligible for the NAFFL promo.

I've tried requesting twice and got the same generic denial. Has anyone successfully contested this after being denied twice? Should I go straight to emailing BSP or is there a specific department I should ask for? I'm honestly thinking of just cutting the card if they won't honor the promise, but I'd rather get the fee reversed first. Appreciate any advice or similar stories for UB false promotion.
