VNs with a childcare theme?
I'm looking for VNs where the protagonist and heroine take care of a cute kid together! It doesn't have to be their own biological child necessarily but bonus points if you get to see the heroine being all maternal and feminine
If the kid is a girl it would be extra cute if she wears matching outfits with the heroine!
I'm already familiar with the KEY games where this is an element. Also I can read Japanese so feel free to recommend stuff that isn't in english
Their kids are so adorable!!! Brave handsome little prince and dainty beautiful little princess! <3 [Anohana]
Replaying the series for the first time since my childhood. I named my protagonist 'Shigesato' after Itoi. Going to try and get through as much as possible without a walkthrough relying on memory alone
Their dresses are so pretty and dainty! <3 [Sakura no Uta]
(F24) Looking for otaku friends
I'm looking for friends who are into otaku culture, particularly into moe and kawaii cultures. I like visual novels, jiraikei, visual kei, lolita fashion, BL, dark content (guro) and cute characters (mascots like Chiikawa and My Melody). I also like classical literature (mostly French writers like Bataille, Baudelaire, Flaubert and Proust), collecting dolls and Disney Princess
I recommend Hakubou no Dendoushi, a dark fantasy novel by Gen Urobuchi (the author of Saya no Uta)
Nae-hime's cheer after a cute n cool boy from her school rescues her from the dark clutches of the mad scientist Hououin Kyouma and his dastardly labmems!!!!!
What's the deal with green Bocchi?
I've been a fan of this series since the anime first aired in 2022 but haven't interacted with the fandom much until I started using Reddit again recently. I've been seeing a lot of edits of Bocchi with green hair, initially I assumed it was someone's OC or something like that, but it has been posted so much I think it's probably a long-running meme? What's the story here?
Playing pretend with Futari-chan! Kita and Futari are mama and baby princess, with Nijika as the papa prince coming to rescue them from being captured by the gloomy witch Bocchi and her dark knight Ryo and pet dragon Kikuri~
Beautiful little princess counting on the brave handsome little prince to save her from the ugly witch's icky clutches~ [Summer Pockets]
Angel beauty princess supermodel cheerleader!!!!!
Amy as a "beauty to rescue" is honestly a good vibe. The brave handsome prince spoiling the ugly wizard's plan and saving the beauty girly princess~
Wearing these in the 00s and fully trusting your kindergarten "crush" was a brave prince who could rescue u from an ugly ass witch
How come being a "prince" isn't a big thing for little boys in the same way being a "princess" is for little girls?
When I was a little girl, one of the main things orientated towards girls was princesses: the whole vibe of dressing up with sparkly dresses, tiaras, makeup etc so you're super cute when the brave prince comes to rescue you from the ugly witch or wizard and all their monsters
Yet being the "prince" was never a role heavily orientated or encouraged in boys.
It seems weird to me because a prince seems to pair perfectly with the "princess" role for girls, and is also very typically boyish and action orientated: defeating the villains, rescuing the beautiful princess. Instead boys were moreso pushed towards ninjas and pirates and knights.
Do little boys just in general not like the idea of being princes?
DAE have these plastic Disney Princess heels? Kind of shitty looking in hindsight but I remember wearing these and feeling like a beauty princess who a handsome little boy prince would fight an ugly witch and dragon to rescue~
As a kid I loved to imagine being a princess and getting rescued by a prince!
