Ich habe mein Leben lang Frauen bewundert, die all das stemmen: Kinder, Einkaufen, Kochen, Putzen. Oft kam ich nach einer langen Schicht nach Hause, meine Frau war sichtbar am Ende und bat mich um Hilfe. Natürlich habe ich immer mit angepackt, wo ich konnte.

Vor gut einem Jahr haben wir die Rollen getauscht. Durch ihr früheres Studium bekam sie ein Jobangebot, mit dem sie mehr verdienen konnte als ich. Also entschieden wir, dass ich zu Hause bleibe, mich um die drei Kinder kümmere und den Haushalt übernehme. Am Anfang war das ungewohnt und teilweise überfordernd. Es fällt einfach unglaublich viel an.

Mittlerweile habe ich aber eine Routine entwickelt, die so gut funktioniert, dass ich meist gegen 10 oder 11 Uhr mit allem fertig bin. Dann habe ich schlicht nichts mehr zu tun. Drei, vier Stunden bis zum Kochen kann ich einfach entspannen. Kein Stress wegen Stückzahlen, kein täglicher Stau, kein Druck von oben. Ich mache Musik an, tanze, putze die Wohnung. Ich habe mehr Energie als früher, und meine Laune ist so viel besser geworden, dass ich mich inzwischen frage, warum sich so viele Menschen darüber beschweren, wie viel Arbeit zu Hause anfällt.

Meine Frau kommt oft von der Arbeit nach Hause und sieht genauso geschafft aus wie früher. Sie erwartet dann erst einmal Ruhe.. die gönne ich ihr auch. Aber ich komme nicht umhin daran zu denken, wie mir damals schon an der Tür ein Kind in die Hand gedrückt wurde und ich direkt ein, zwei Aufgaben bekam. Ich könnte das ansprechen, aber es würde nur in Streit enden. Also nehme ich es hin. Es ist ja nicht so, dass ich wirklich eine Pause bräuchte.. ich hatte ja gerade erst ein paar Stunden Ruhe.

Edit wegen Nachfrage: Die Kinder sind 1, 3 und 8. Also Zuhause, Kindergarten und Schule.

Edit 2: Natürlich Sperre ich mein Jüngsten nicht weg! Spielzeit mit ihm ist für mich Entspannung.. oder einfach ihm beim Entdecken/Spielen zuschauen. Leute..

Edit 3: Ich koche nur gesund. Ich bin gelernter Koch und bei uns wird nur in Ausnahmesituationen bestellt. Natürlich gibt es auch mal Spaghetti Bolognese aber selbst die köchelt bei mir mindestens 2 Stunden.

It’s the new rat tactic to stay in friendly lobbies.

Now they can rat carebear lobbies without resetting their MM in between.

A few days ago I was wiping every Vaporizer and Bombardier like they were training dummies and now I’m hiding behind rocks again because the Rattler mag was empty before the Wasp went down. Sprinting overloaded to the elevator because those 50 metal parts matter again, getting annoyed when you die with a lvl 2 Anvil.. I rly can’t understand how people don’t do the Expedition. Getting that feeling back every two months is just the best.

.. that NPCs start recording whenever you do something stupid, and shortly after you can see the clip pop up on social media with comments and all that? Ist it technically possible?

Zumindest bei neueren Spielen. Endlich mal ein guter Zeitpunkt um Fallout 1+2 nachzuholen. Bier ist kalt gestellt und wird geköpft wenn ich mal einen Kronkorken brauche.

I hadn’t felt like starting any game for a really long time. I thought maybe it was just me getting older, so I focused on other things. Every now and then I browsed through my Steam library, but nothing clicked..my PC stayed off for ages.

Then a friend suggested to try a game where you can turn the UI off completely. I didn’t think much of it and tried it with KCD.. and wow. I haven’t been that immersed in a game in years. After 140 hours I hit the credits, immediately installed KCD2, and did the same thing there.

Not constantly staring at the minimap, actually listening to NPCs, knowing what to do, letting the world guide me instead of quest markers.. that’s exactly what I’d been missing. The fire is back. And since I’m almost done with the game, I wanted to ask for suggestions.

which games can be played completely without UI?

I finally managed to finish RDR2 after eight years.. and after spending 190 hours getting every achievement, I’m hungry for more.

I never really thought about trying Red Dead Online, but the achievements I saw made me curious.

What should I expect as someone who usually prefers playing solo? Can I actually build something for myself there, or will I just get hunted nonstop? Is the community chill or is it all KoS?

I’ve never played GTA Online and haven’t watched any videos.. I genuinely have zero clue what I’m walking into. Any tips for getting started?

I keep seeing people say they’re scared to defend themselves because they don’t want to "ruin" their abmm.. meanwhile I’m sitting at almost 10.000 kills since release and if I want chill lobbies to quest or farm, I can get there in under an hour. I just watch an episode of my show and run naked Stella on the side. The first 3-4 raids I get blasted instantly.. then I usually make it onto the train. After another 2-3 runs everyone is back in Happy‑Hippo mode and the matchmaking has already forgotten that I’m a mass murderer.

So free yourselves from that fear of shooting back. Most of the time a single kill doesn’t change anything anyway

You can take the Burletta and everything you loot in the tutorial with you. Just remember to drop it all before you breach the door and pick it up again afterwards

I know a lot of people here don’t get why anyone would wipe. The rewards feel too small, the loss too big. I thought the same way during the first wipe. did it anyway and never regretted it. I just love having a purpose again. Whether it’s hunting down Bastion cells or grabbing random fruit for Scrappy, it gives the game direction. And with the blueprint wipe you’re basically forced to try loadouts you’d normally ignore, which keeps things fresh.

Plus, the best skin in the entire game is finally complete! and that’s exactly what I’ll be rocking all season.
