Picked up a couple hours of OT this week so picked up a few games. Now time to pick a cigar and play outside on the porch.

recently got back into collecting… a little late I know…

Boss threw a few hours of OT at me this week though so decided to use some of that money splurge and pick up 3 games I’ve had my eyes on.

$400 CAD ($290 USD) for all 3.

Weather is nice so going to take the old 14” CRT out on the porch with the propane fire and relax.

[TOMT] [YouTube] Offensive "Real Street Magic" YouTube prank video from the late 2000s

The video was released during the same time as the David Blaine videos but was much more offensive but it seems to have disappeared completely.

There was a prank where they asked someone what their "biggest fear was" to reply "You sure it's not clowns?" and then someone in a clown costume tackles them.

There is a prank where they put a hamster under a hat in front of a child and 'magician' = stomps on it only to reveal the "dead hamster"

When younger coworkers ask what life was like in the late 2000s, I just show them 'My New Haircut'.

They never believe we used to get blackout drunk before going to the club because we were too cheap to spend $2 on a rum and coke.

I had a rare weekday off this week. Decided I would hit the thrift store this morning.

Got there 20 minutes after opening only to see a group of people at the register with:

a PSP for $29.00 CAD, a stack of xbox games, a PS4 slim,, a game genie, pretty sure I saw a gamecube, they also were buying a few hundred dollars of gold vintage watches and they had a good 40ish vinyl records (Queen, Rolling Stones, etc)

Obviously there was a huge estate donation and it was all gone within 20 minutes of opening lol.

That said - I know it's all about timing... I've been on that end before, but it still doesn't feel good to be on this end and witness it being bought in front of you lol.

It's not so much the thrift stores never have anything... It's more so the good stuff doesn't last on the shelf for longer than a couple hours lol.

If you were that person - I'm not holding it against you... may my luck strike me in the future.
