How do you check the Book of Rememberance "Name"?
Pledged a while ago, figure the exact name I chose. Can't find the name listed in Kickstarter or in my email.

Replacing my other copy, that's in better condition, with this one. I don't care if the back is more roughed up, I can't say no to a swirl like that, right?
I'm about to move overseas (military going to Hawaii). I have the option to store stuff from my house and take stuff with me.
The stored stuff will be packed, boxed, crated, and then stored in a climate controlled warehouse. I've done this before with stuff, no issues. You can also just have your stuff prepacked and boxed and they just stack it and pack it up.
My prepacked boxes of "holiday decorations" will be untouchable for a minimum of 3 years. Couldn't sell if I wanted to 💁🏼♂️
Anybody have their own ways of preventing temptation? I'm really just doing it to save room at the new house. Once they're packed in boxes I don't even look at them except to check condition.
It's in the binder now, and i think I'll grade it for display and preservation. No rush though.
Was in the nasty 3 ring for a couple decades. Moved from closet to closet around the world. Luckily, I never really touched them until recently. Slowly grading my vintage stuff but the wait times don't agree with my schedule with an upcoming move
CGC says the missing ink doesn't warrant the error label. I reached out when I saw the online results. The only reason I submitted through them was for the error.
It's annoying they admit it's missing, but just not enough.
I'm happy it's a 9, but should I crack and send to PSA or just let it ride since it likely won't 10?
Between my mom's cedar hope chest and my closet across multiple moves through the decades, they're finally being cared for properly. These cards have traveled around the world in just the last 10yrs.

Getting back into the collecting game and ~10yr old me was looking out.

They'll be off to be graded soon and I have moderately high hopes.

I'm afraid to show you the binder they've been in before now. I always kept them out of the way, but I understand I'm very lucky they are in this condition.
I wonder if this can be popped out or cheaply fixed. With the location, I'm not so sure.
Signal NCO here. Will be PCSing with dependents near the end of the year, out of cycle. My branch manager is a solid dude, and when contacted, has been very cooperative and helpful in finding something that works for my family and me. Here are the options we discussed today:
CONUS:
JBLM, WA - (been here before, love it, it's our top choice for many reasons, just not a fan of going to the unit, I believe I know that I'd go to). But we want to use the VA loan again, and the market there is crazy.
Ft Riley, KS - Might be my number 2 for CONUS. Weather and area are important, and at least they get all four seasons, plus the housing market looks reasonable.
Ft Bliss, TX - No, thank you. I believe it's a 1st Armored slot.
Ft Hood, TX - Really rather not.
Ft Stewart, GA - Never been, not sure what position it would be.
Ft Gordon, GA - Been here twice, for AIT and ALC, but not accompanied like I would be this time. Not a fan.
OCONUS:
Schofield Barracks, HI - Wife would love it, I'm more of a cold mountain man than a tropical guy. But it's Hawaii. The housing market is notoriously bad, but maybe we can make it work. This might be an "HQ DIV" spot in the reactivated 125th.
Baumholder, GY - We'd love it. But we kind of just spent a long time overseas recently, so I think were looking to at least be in 1/50 states before doing that again.
Korea - We all know where you go when you go to Korea. Been there, done that, twice. I'd love to go back for the people and culture, but I'm not ready for the 1SIG grind again this soon.
Thinking if we can't get Lewis, then just take Hawaii. Check it off the bucket list and enjoy the islands for a while.
Thoughts?
I'll take a glass of fresh air and anything you have under 85 degrees. It's fucking hot outside.
I'm sure there's some explanation, but if I knew this was the case I would have just asked to do a local pickup.
Before our toddler destroys the inside of our '26 XLE I want to protect the seats. Prefer non-leather like material but I'm open to options and curious what you've all found and use.
