"Strangely, the Hero’s Party Is Being Nice to Me" Review
Plot Summary: The Mc Transmigrates into his most played video game where he is chosen as the next hero to stop the demon king and the 4 demon commanders who main goal is to kill the Goddess who guides over the human race.
When Mc was playing the game he wanted to finish it while keeping all the heroines alive after slaying the demon king but it was never possible after 999 runs. After spending soo much time playing the game he is granted a chance to go to that world and save them all with his own hands but in doing soo the world difficulty increases making his enemies more powerful to overcome.
After entering the world as level 1 and only given a couple of days to reach level 70 to become the next hero of mankind the Mc uses a blessing granted to him by Goddess called Authority of sacrifice to erase and destroy all past, present and future connections he will make with the people around him, this effect causes him to reach level 70 but In doing soo he becomes misunderstood and treated like a Demon by Royalty, civilians and even the Hero Party that follows him who he sworn to protect.
Plot Narrative: The novel main story includes 2 plotlines where hero party adventures in a expedition to stop one of the demon commanders while 2nd plotline includes party going back to kingdom and siding with part of the conflict of royal selection for the next king/queen of the kingdom.
Heroines and Bad endings: The hero is blessed with a 2nd blessing that grants him return by death, the hero is unaware of this blessing and when he dies the last remaining heroine experiences a bad ending from the original game, during the ending they suddenly regress before they challenged the Demon Commander and the regressed Heroine is only one who knows what happens which is reason why novel title called "Strangely, the Hero’s Party Is Being Nice to Me"
I really like Death loop genre soo finding out it this novel had it made me want to keep reading it until the end.
Cons:
No side stories, This novel would be higher on my read list if it included stories with each heroine after main story ended as well as some other side characters that weren't Heroines.
Favoritism: since no side stories I felt like their 1 Heroine that had better story and relationship with the hero since they had longest and most interesting bad ending.
Pros:
Enjoyable action: Allot of fights were well done and did enjoy it feeling hopeless for the Hero party with the introduction of Difficulty increase.
Kind hearted MC: they keep all negative emotion to themselves and never backlash or make cruel comments to the party since he only one who knows he is cursed and they would have all treated him as a companion if he never made the sacrifice.
Verdict: If don't have any novels your reading right now I would recommend giving this a read.
