Happy Birthday to Bl. Kaiser Karl I of Austria-Hungary

Yesterday, me and my friends went to a symposium that was held by Traditionalist Catholics to celebrate the birthday of Bl. Kaiser Karl I of Austria-Hungary. Even though I'm a Serbian Orthodox Christian, I have a strong love for Bl. Kaiser Karl I given he sought to end WW1 early via the Sixtus Affair(which would've included giving Bosnia to Serbia and allowing the two monarchies to coexist). The symposium was held at a Catholic school in the DC Area and for the French Monarchists, the school's mascot are the Vendeens. During the symposium, Archduchess Kathleen met via zoom where she gave marital/familial advice to a young couple that was expecting their first child. There were a few other people who gave talks such as a Priest who talked in detail about the Sixtus Affair. As we were about to head back, we bought a statue of Bl. Kaiser Karl I as well as Charles Columbe's book on Bl. Karl I. I pray that Karl I & his wife are interceding to The LORD on behalf of the lands they once ruled over, just as the Romanovs are doing for their lands.

Happy birthday to Bl. Kaiser Karl I of Austria-Hungary.

Miracle of Our Lady of the Snakes in Kefalonia, Greece

Every year, between the Feasts of the Holy Transfiguration and the Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos, snakes miraculously congregate at the Church of Panagia Fidousa(Our Lady of the Snakes) in the island of Kefalonia.

Best of Otakon 2026

I had an absolute blast at Otakon with my friends this year. This was my sixth year attending Otakon and was honestly my best Otakon so far. It's so crazy to think that I've been attending Otakon since I was 15. I so wish that I was able to go for the full weekend. Maybe next year, I'll be able to buy badges for the whole weekend and plan on going with more friends. Regardless, it's always a lot of fun going to Otakon since it's one of the few times where you can express your love for anime without people thinking you're weird for it. See you guys next year.

Relic of Blessed Kaiser Karl I of Austria-Hungary

Last night, me and my friend were at Washington DC for Otakon and we decided to go to St. Mary's Catholic Church after eating sushi for dinner since it houses a relic of Blessed Kaiser Karl I. They have a book where parishioners can write prayer intentions and naturally, my prayer intention was for the restoration of all the Monarchies that fell since the French Revolution.

Feast of the Romanov Royal Martyrs

Today is the Feast of the Romanov Royal Martyrs. In the early hours of July 17th, 1918, the Tsar Nicholas II, the Tsaritsa Alexandra, the Tsesarevich Alexei, the Tsarevnas Olga, Tatiana, Maria, & Anastasia, and their servants were brutally martyred by the Antichrist Bolsheviks. They were martyred for they represented the Orthodox faith and for the fact that they wanted to bring Russia to an Orthodox renaissance. Whilst the Tsar-Martyr Nicholas II wasn't an ideal Tsar in the secular sense, he was perhaps the best Tsar that Russia had in the Orthodox sense since he ruled Russia in a Christ-like manner as he could. However, the Freemasonic aristocracy/bourgeoisie/intelligentsia and the Antichrist Bolsheviks wanted to bring Russia to the path of the Antichrist. For nearly a century, the Bolsheviks did their best to destroy the ancient Orthodox faith in Holy Rus'. However, the Bolsheviks failed and after the current regime, the Lord shall send the Holy Tsar to co-rule Holy Rus' with the Theotokos, the Tsaritsa of Russia.

Holy Romanov Royal Martyrs, pray to God for the repentance of the lands of the Russian Empire and for the resurrection of Holy Rus' under the Holy Tsar. Amin.

"I do not shake the hands of murderers"

According to Zhukov’s daughter, Margarita Georgievna Zhukova (1929-2010), the meeting took place on 1st May 1951, when the May Day parade was being held in Sverdlovsk [Ekaterinburg].

“What was really going on in my father’s soul can be understood from an episode that occurred later. I was told about it during my trip to the Urals by old-timers. It was at a solemn reception, where the entire local party elite had gathered. Yermakov, as before, spoke about his “heroic feats”, and decided to approach my father to shake hands as equals. Introducing himself, he announced that he was the same Yermakov who participated in the execution of the Imperial Family, and stretched out his hand. He expected surprise, questions, delight, but Yermakov was surprised by my father’s response, who disgusted and gritting his teeth, said firmly: “I do not shake the hands with the murderers!”.

Heavenly Hymns in the Ipatiev House Basement

This story was told to Archbishop Melchizedek, who had then been the hierarch of Ekaterinburg for many years. At the time of the fall of the Soviet government in 1990, an old woman came to his office. Although she was not a believer, she felt that she was going to die soon and said that she had something she wanted to tell him.

After the death of the Tsar and his family, the Ipatiev House had been turned into the "Museum of the Workers’ Revenge," to commemorate the death of the family. This woman, Anna, had been the night guard in the museum for several decades, and although the rest of the house was open during the day for visitors, the basement — the site of the family’s murder — was always kept barred and locked. No one, including the guards, ever went down there. Anna told the Archbishop that many times during her years of working there she would be startled at night to hear beautiful singing and see light streaming from the basement door. She said that the singing was as of many voices, and definitely church music. She would often creep up to the door to listen but was too frightened to go into the basement to look. She did not tell anyone, since she knew that if she reported such things she would be dismissed and possibly arrested. Archbishop Melchizedek asked Anna if she would sign an affidavit attesting to the truth of her story, but she refused, saying that she was too afraid of the KGB to sign anything that might get her in trouble.

Went to see Jackass: Best & Last

Yesterday, me and my friend went to see Jackass: Best & Last in theatres since both of us are fans of the Jackass series. During the grand finale & the end credits, I was on the verge of tears, but restrained myself since I didn't want to cry next to my friend. I remember watching Jackass as a toddler with my favorite stunt being the puppet show stunt since I loved snakes. Jackass was as much of my childhood as FNAF, South Park, Beavis & Butthead, and Ridiculousness. I remember watching Steve-O's vlogs as well as the Jackass trilogy during Covid. For my 16th birthday, I went to see Jackass Forever in theatres and laughed so hard at the opening scene. I also got Paramount+ at the time and binge-watched the original Jackass series. Even though it breaks my heart to know that a series that I grew up with is ending, I wish all the best for the Jackass crew. Thank you Johnny Knoxville, Steve O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Danger Ehren, Wee Man, Bam Magera, Ryann Dunn, Phil Magera, April Magera, Preston Lacy, and the rest of the Jackass crew for helping build childhood memories.
