Just a few days ago, Forsyth County released their proposed budget for FY2027. The county’s five year capital plan includes roughly $168 million in road spending for 2027. How to get Google to Index your pages?

How do you get Google to index your pages? I use Google Search Console and only my websites home page + one issue has been indexed. I don’t know why only that one issue has but I would like for all of my issues to be indexed. Does anyone know if there’s a trick to it or something?

Data needed For College Project

Hi! I’m a UGA student in a college entrepreneurship accelerator researching how local service businesses get customers through referrals. If you own a local service business (cleaning, landscaping, detailing, HVAC, plumbing, etc.), I’d really appreciate 3 minutes of your time. This research is for customer discovery—not a sales pitch. You will not be asked to identify your business or your name. Your data will not be shared other than for purposes of the accelerator

New Bathroom Facility at Fairgrounds

A new bathroom facility is expected to arrive soon to The Cumming Fairgrounds. The idea was supposed to be taken action on earlier, but the RFP’s for the project weren’t in line with the city’s budget in June. The agenda for the July 21st work session for the city, however, shows that the item was brought back, and it seems they will be moving forward with it now. It’s expected to finish before this year’s fair and festival.

Data Center Permit Cancelled

Earlier last week, the board of commissioners had a meeting where one of the items they discussed was the permit for a new data center that was planned for North Forsyth. Several residents spoke up about their concerns. It resulted in the revocation of the permit. What are your thoughts on this?

Link in bio

I wish link in bio was a separate feature form the website builder. I tried link in bio, and when I deleted the footer, it also deleted the footer from my main landing page. Also the fonts didn’t carry over. Overall, it was too complicated.

Growing local newsletters

What is the best way to grow a local newsletter for free?

I recently started a newsletter for my county where I write about the new growth and developments that are happening every week. It’s a pretty fast growing county so I thought it would be a good idea.

If you write a local newsletter, what’s the most effective method you’ve done/seen to grow your audience?

Made a Local Newsletter

Hey everyone. I recently made a weekly newsletter for Forsyth County where I share recent news on the region’s development and growth. It’s completely free and comes on Sunday morning. Signing up automatically gives you a list of 15 developments that are changing the county this year.

I don’t make any money from this and just want people to get more awareness on how their city is changing.
