My first rescue was Kiki, she was unknown age, but had been neglected before and had MBD. I was not detoured by this and got the lil PET ONLY rescue. She was so sweet and very handicapped; hip distortion and neck issues all (possibly) from the MBD. she couldn’t raise her head and tried to bite the one time I tried to lift it up. But she was given a lush terrarium and was so handleable.

I hadn’t seen her for two days on her “judgment log” but that wasn’t a red flag but I looked for her today and found her curled up under her judgment log. She didn’t drop her tail, she looked like she just went to the ground level and fells asleep and didn’t wake back up…the log is cork bark and she wasn’t stuck but dug put a lil spot to go into.

She will be so so missed. It really sucks but I’m glad I got to be the one to enjoy her. 🥹

Does anyone know of an ice cream place that sells a SPECIFIC flavor of ice cream (maybe gelato?) called STRAWBERRY BUTTER? My folks are visiting for graduation week of my kiddos and asked if there was any. I’ve never partaken in this flavor and never heard of it till last night when they arrived. This may be the last trip they can make down here due to progressive health issues, and I wanna get them this one thing they mentioned while on another trip (to another state) from several years ago.

My fall back plan is to attempt to make it if I am unable to find a place. I just would have to get an ice cream maker since my last one broke down two years ago. 😅 But this would mean so much to me and them if anyone knows a place. I’m even willing to make a drive to San Fran for this flavor to make this short visit a bit more special; apart from the graduations that is. 🤗

So far I’ve been growing my collection and colonies for about a little over a year now. It’s so strange how much enjoyment I get from watching them thrive. 🥹 however my powder mixes won’t stop invading the other terrariums. 🫣🤭

This is Sir Lewis, he was a rescue I took in a while back. I never looked into his morph, but I know it’s ‘Fire’ but with something else; yellow belly maybe?
