My yard spiders
The first 3 photos are of the little Hogna 'incognita' mama who lives right by the back door. She frequently pops out of her burrow for a mealworm, but this is the first time I've seen her with her babies. These days she's having a hard time getting her butt back inside the burrow. Next is one of the lovely H. carolinensis females out for a stroll, then two more H. 'incognita' mothers (one with an egg sac, one with babies). The H. carolinensis have been dropping babies all summer, but this is the first of the H. 'incognita' spiderlings I've seen this year. They only make one egg sac in their lifetimes, and as you can see, they make it count.

How to be a real bro to your spiders
Daytime temperatures here have been in the triple digits, and I can't remember the last time it rained. Every other night or so after the sun has set, I head outside with a water misting bottle and lightly mist the webs of all the orb weavers, grass spiders, black widows and false widows, and everyone else. Then, I use a mister attachment on the garden hose and give the entire yard a light misting for the wolf spiders and ground spiders.
I feed my yard spiders all the time, but the enthusiasm they show for a free meal is nothing compared to how much they appreciate this lifesaving drink of water. So be a real bro to your spiders and help them survive the heat of summer!

What if Sarah Boone got probation for her Battery charge?
Reading the post by u/diehard_fan_80 made me wonder about how Sarah would have coped with being on probation. Common conditions of probation include refraining from alcohol use, community service, payment of fines, monthly visits with her probation officer, full-time employment, and no contact with the victim.
Let's say Sarah got five years of probation. Which condition(s) of probation would she have violated first, and how long would it have taken her to violate it? How long would she have been on probation before the Judge finally revoked it and gave her some jail time?
