Landlords and appliances

I have a general landlord question. Can a landlord deny repairing or replacing appliances that they provided? The apartment came with the appliances and they were not purchased by me. I’ve done some googling and it seems like it’s not legal. I’m looking for the lease agreement to see if anything was stated about that. I’m fairly new to New York so I’m not knowledgeable about the renting laws.

My friend’s wedding is coming up. I love her dearly and support her in any way I can. She was in my wedding as my MOH. Anyways, I was expecting her Bachelorette party to be something lowkey and affordable, given that everyone is from different states. Instead, she planned a trip to Disney. With flight, lodging and park tickets , it was costing about $1,000 for me. This doesn’t include food, shopping, drinking, other treats, etc. The other bridesmaids are driving because they live closer, but I t’s going to cost me considerably more for a plane ticket (way too far to drive). Bride has everything paid for by MOH, which is exactly what she deserves and I’m happy that it’s not going to be an extra cost burden for her.

The trip also would mean me I need to take off 3 days from work and I don’t have much PTO at all. I tried to explain the $1000+ was just out of my budget and I needed to save PTO for the wedding, since her wedding day is on a weekday. I had to politely decline, I apologized and said I could buy a round of drinks or pay for room service or something like that.

I feel horrible for saying it, but I’m not a huge Disney person and I have a lot of social anxiety; I’m afraid of potential fighting and drama.

Anyway, this is the 5th time she’s brought it up again after I said no. She’s basically begging. What do I do? Do I suck it up, get money from my savings, and do it? I want to make her happy because I love her so much. I don’t want to regret this and end up hurting her. She’s done so much for me but I’m poor
:(
