I’ve started collect 70s Levi’s but after struggling to find some bootcut in my size and budget I settled for what I thought would be 80s or 90s as no specifics or pictures of labels were provided. I was just happy to find something with a long leg to fit me and got them for a decent price. Today when they arrived I was happy to see a talon zipper a small inner tag. Now I just need an opportunity to wear these out! (Sorry about the photos in my slippers 😂)

I know they’re on the short side but when buying second hand online for less than vintage shops would charge, I took a chance. I have no previous experience with bootcut or flared styles. I do like when they stack and bunch a bit so will definitely get another pair, but are these ones passing as an ok length? Can’t remember the exact specs but they’re 70’s 517, talon zipper etc. I feel like they are ok stood still but I see a bit of sock when I catch my reflection walking. Please be kind 😅

I’m currently clearing some earth from a garden in Wallsend, UK. I don’t know if I’m putting 2+2 together and getting 5, but I’ve found a high concentration of pottery fragments everywhere I dig. I’ll collect it all at the end of the day, clean it and take some better photographs.
