PC help?
I have a "MSI MPG CARBON WIFI x870e", my cpu is a "ryzen 7 9850", corsair 64 gb. The ram and cpu are used parts, which is why I cleaned them prior.
My PC will not post, originally my motherboard was stuck on solid red and yellow debug lights with code 00. I do not believe this is a power issue because the cpu was generating heat, the rgbs on the ram are also lighting up so I am guessing they are getting power to. I also flashed the latest bios on the board, but it is still stuck on the solid red and yellow lines with error code 00. I thought it may have been the board so I got another board, this time it starts cycling through a bunch of error codes and sometimes shows green, sometimes red yellow and green, and sometimes nothing at all.. but it still won't post. I am not sure why but I did clean the gold contacts of both the ram and cpu with isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth then took a dust fan to them, then I installed them on the first motherboard and left them overnight in there before I finished the build in the morning and the red and yellow light error started happening with error code 00.
