Peaceful getaway for New Years Eve with dog in Central Europe- no fireworks

Hello!
We are a group of friends looking for a peaceful getaway for new years celebration. We are based in Vienna and Bavaria (near Salzburg) and we are specifically looking for somewhere peaceful and quiet- without fireworks and it should be accessible by car (we dont mind a longer drive). The Alps (Austria, Germany) are filled with party people. So we are currently thinking Czechia, Slovenia? or maybe it could be peaceful at some of the croatian islands in the north?
Any good recommendations are highly welcome!
Thanks!

Authentic cafes and restaurants near Metaxata+vegetarian options?

Hello everyone!
We have just booked our vacation to Kefalonia in about 3 weeks. Our acommodation is in Metaxata (everything seems to be 10 minutes away!) and we are very much looking forward to it!
So I wanted to ask regarding some good tavernas in that general neigborhood (withon 15-20 minutes by car) that are bit more peaceful and authentic- we are absolutely looking for food that tastes like home-made in a restaurant that ist nit completely overrun by tourists. In Cyprus we loved driving up to the mountain villages for the best food- it was just us, 2 more people, some cats, a donkey nearby and a grandma in the kitchen and the best food ever at a reasonable price. Is there such a thing nearby? Also since my GF is vegetarian any recommendations for restaurants with a solid vegetarian menu would be very welcome!
Efharisto and a nice day to you!

Controller recognized but no input

Hello everyone!
So after getting back from a 3-week work trip it was to time to play again.
Unfortunately for whatever reason now GFN does not support my original XBOX ONE controller, before it was no problem.
The controller is connected via USB cable, all drivers are up-to-date, i also checked in Windows whether the controller provides input and it does. The controller does get recognized when in menu in games but no input…
Anyone have an idea what this might be?
Thanks for the support!

Peaceful greek vacation- Cephalonia and other options

Hello!
We (M30,F27) are currently looking for our vacation spot for the year (early to mie September).
We have 9-10 days and want a peaceful, quiet, not overrun vacation somewhere where it doesnt feel like greek Disneyland just for tourists.
It would mostly be beach and snorkeling and good food, the possibility of a simple hike is nice but not a must. Not looking for instagramable fancy restaurants, more mom-and-pop shops and nice villages with a cat running around. Will be renting a car anyway so that is not a problem. For comparison we loved western Cyprus and Sicily around Palermo.
We both havent been in Greece in about 10 years so any recommendations are welcome.
Thank you everyone!

Kleine Sammelfigur kaputt- wo am besten reparieren lassen?

Servus!
Danke!
