FIN1331 from EFHK Helsinki to EGLL Heathrow has fuel Emergency

On a flight from Helsinki to Heathrow as Finnair 1331 in the Fenix A321. When taking off i noted that the centre fuel tank was giving a transfer error. I thought I had switched it too manual transfer and continued the flight as normal. As i was flying over Denmark, i received a low fuel in wing tanks warning. I spent about 5 mins trying to fault find before declaring PAN PAN and asking for immediate diversion to the nearest airport.

Took me a while to get back over land and decend from FL340. Had very little time to prepare for the approach. Ended up doing a couple of holds to get down to altitude before doing an emergency landing. I didnt realise how short the runway was until I was on very short final with zero fuel to spare. So just slammed it down and full manual on the brakes.

BlackSquare Bonanza coming into YSSY Sydney runway 25 at Night

Starting feel good landing. Still a little unsteady on approach and wasnt sure i hit the right control for the reverser on landing hence the looking down. Love the look of MSFS24 at night. Flying directly over Sydney CBD as i cam from the west and got vectored to the ILS for 25 was absolutely stunning.

Flying on SayIntentions.AI and slowly building up my company in OnAir.

Rate my landing!

YSSY - Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport Default Taxi way causing plane crash

So wondering if anyone else has this issue with YSSY default airport. Flying the BlackSquare Bonanza, Landed in Sydney for the first time (ignore the FPS, graphics settings need adjustments) and was taxing in for parking. Suddenly my plane crashed. So reloaded the sim and drove over the same part again. From chase cam, you can clearly see the plane bounce weird and then suddenly crash. I dont feel like I was going to fast and from the outside it looks reasonably flat.

Now i havent noticed this at any other airports that i have visited in sim so far. None of which are custom.

I will likely be buying the Payware YSSY soon as it is my local major hub and want to start learning Jets. But worried that if i buy the custom YSSY that I will have the same issue. Is it a Sim issue that I can adjust or is it a default airport issue or a BlackSquare Bonanza issue?

Thanks

Thrustmaster Warthogg giving false signals or inputs not working

Hey guys.

Recently setup my Thrustmaster Warthogg joystick again after having it stored for a while in order to get back into DCS and MSFS. Playing around with controls, i noticed that there was some funny inputs happening on the Throttle quadrant. Notably some controls inputs not working or others outputting incorrect buttons. The joystick is well and truly out of warranty, i have had it for a good 6 or so years now. Never had a problem till now.

For example, my China Hat when i press it forward, it is supposed to output button 11, no signal. However if i pull it back, it then puts out signal 11 instead of 12. The MIC Switch, when i press it back, it gives output of up on the POV hat, the other 3 directions send signals 4 5 and 6. The POV hat, pressing down gives left and pushing up gives right.

Just to name a few. I have checked the software, updated the fireware, checked the connections, tried the throttle in different USB ports even unplugged all other controllers attached to the PC. Nothings seems to be helping.

Doing a google searched, I have found posts about the Joystick giving issues, but nothing about the buttons on the Throttle.

Now for MSFS24 it is not an issue cause i dont tend to use many of those inputs in the Sim, however for DCS, this is proving to cause all kinds of headaches. Firstly with certain controls not being mappable and secondly, downloading control configs, all the inputs are wrong.

Wondering if anyone else has come across this issue with the Warthogg? If so was it fixable, how was it fixed? Or am i in the market for a new HOTAS?

Thanks in advance

NEW to MSFS24 - Why does flying in clear weather feel like i am flying through a hurricane?

Hey Guys.

Recently bought MSFS24 as I was keen to get back into flight sims. I wouldnt say I am a huge sim expert, have a resonable number of hours in Xplane11 and DCS. I consider myself very much a novice flyer.

However, I am baffled as to what is happening in MSFS24 for me. I am starting my career mode, doing some basic jobs as an employee, dont own my own plane yet. No auto pilot enabled and flying with a ThrustMaster Warthogg and ThrustMaster rudder pedals. All inputs look smooth and stable as far as i can tell, verified with recalibrating and checking all input signals. I have also adjusted the curve so that minor corrections are easier to make.

I honestly feel like I am flying through hurricane winds when hands on flying is MSFS24. I dont know if i am doing something fundamentally wrong or if the simulation and or planes are super sensitive to air currents. It is impossible to get the plane flying smoothly and if i do manage to, i will all of a sudden be fighting to save the plane as it is horribly banking to the left or right or the nose is diving for the ground. I am adjusting the trim and am familiar with a small amount of drift when hand flying. But this feels extreme and borderline dangerous. I cant maintain heading or altitude at all. I am lucky to get to my destination in 1 piece honestly.

I have seen some vids of people talking about bouncing flight with Auto Pilot engaged. But nothing abnout the flight characteristics of this sim.

Really hoping someone can help me as I am actually really excited and enjoying the prospect of a real career mode in a flight sim. Currently though, i am one minor breeze away from a air crash investigation episode.

Thanks in advance.
