Some bearded dragon advice please 💕

Some bearded dragon advice please 💕

Hi, I'm posting this for my friend. She got a baby beardie, about 6 months old, she has it for two months now. I only have experience with a Leo gecko but I want to help her gather the right information.

The red light was replaced by a normal basking bulb so dw. I already told her about linear uvb, we know about the adult size enclosure, having thermometers and hygrometers etc.

I'm more interested in a good supplement feeding schedule. How often should she have multivitamins etc. she has calcium and multivitamin. Then how often and how much should she have greens. Rn I believe she gives her mainly dubias and some carrot and dandelion leaves but apparently she's not super into the greens lol.

If you have any other advice, throw it at me:). I will be helping her set up her big girl enclosure and I don't need advice about it, I already know how to do it. I'm more interested in other advice, like what can we do if she becomes gravid, or some behavioural advice. Whatever else you think of.

Poppy's meal time

⚠️ Warning ⚠️ too cute

She stayed in the same spot like at the end of the video for a few hours now, the worm is almost sucked out :)

Poppy's first watermelon ever

She wasn't interested until she happened to walk on it and immediately realised it can be consumed

She then spent a good while grooming the juices off of her, only to stuff her face with more, which then led to more grooming. Silly girl

Burried water, food and calcium

Just why 💀 Roast her

Moments earlier I went to mist her humid hide and tried to offer her food, she hasn't eaten in some time which isn't like her, but she's very active as you can see, not lethargic. She was upset at the food and just wanted out, but because I was cooking, I didn't have time to take her out and watch her. Moments later I walked in to this lol. After I cleaned everything and put it back (-the food), she started digging again. Thankfully in a different direction lol.

Confused Poppy going in circles with her mealworm, round and round and round 💃🏼

The original video is 5 minutes long 💀 She caught it very quickly (I'm thankful she didn't get my finger instead), but then she just kept backing up in circles as you can see for over 4 minutes😭. Even when I tried to move her next to something, she kept circling on me. Maybe she got dizzy and disoriented lmaooo. At the end she successfully got in with her fat worm.

Is there too much clutter?

I thought clutter would be great for them and I love how it looks more natural. They can find the food just fine.

But my mum saw it and she questioned, if it isn't too much. She's not an expert and she doesn't take care of any. But she said she always saw the enclosures being very open for them to jump better. But I've had my first for over half a year now, and she only jumped after prey in her enclosure, or outside of her enclosure. I've never seen her jump just because inside, even when it was much more empty.

As I said, she's not an expert but it still made me doubt myself lol. Should I make it more open?

I swear she's usually a good hunter...

She later tried to get one from the bowl, very unsuccessful again. After that, she became completely uninterested in me and the food. Reptiles are so dramatic for no reason

Poppy finds her reflection

I didn't realise the candle is reflective lmao, she was behind the photo for too long and when I checked to see if she's okay, she was observing herself 😭

My biting spider update, no vampiric tendencies today :)

Hi, many of you have probably seen my biting spider video lol.

Well two days later I decided to spot clean her poops and she later decided to come out. We spent a good half an hour together, she was trying to walk up my arms many times, willingly jumped on me many times etc.

Again, she seemed captivated by my face and tried to get close, but after our vampire experience, I'm not letting that happen lol.

No biting today.

Does her behaviour on the video seem stressed, curious or anything else? I still have no idea if she likes this, but she sometimes didn't even wanna leave my hands.

Help, my spider bit me twice

Did she do it out of fear or as a food response? I'll love her either way, but if it was fear, I might refrain from handling her if she doesn't like it.

She's very skittish. She's scared of sudden movements but she has climbed on my hands on her own a lot of times, I just need to be patient.

I noticed she takes interest in my face a lot. She focuses on my moving eyes and lips is my theory. So I've been scared to let her go near in case she decides it's food. However today she climbed on my hand herself, she started climbing up to my shoulder while occasionally staring on my face. When she was on my neck, I moved slightly to grab the mirror so I know where she is. In that moment she bit me. She stayed in just like I'm her prey. I pushed her butt with a brush slightly in hope to release her. Eventually she did. I moved her on my hand again, despite the pain, I didn't flinch, for her safety and comfort. However as I was ready to put her back in, she bit me again, as you can see on the video. Same thing happened and then I managed to gently put her back in.

I was surprised. She seemed very relaxed with me today, no fear and no scared look because of some movement or sound, pure curiousity.

Enclosure update for leopard gecko, 72.6 gal

A complete new setup for my leo! 72.6 gal Mostly real wood, 2 rocks, a coconut hide, fake plants and fake hides, linear uvb

Also I need to flex with the rock in the left corner! Isn't it so cool? I ordered it online, it was supposed to be a random shape, but it perfectly fits into the corner! It's a pyramid, it's absolutely perfect.

And I expected the big ass piece of wood to ba well, long but thin, more like a branch. Thankfully I was crazy enough to also get a tall enclosure... 💀 Behind the wood is a wooden platform that supports it and protects the Leo from an accidental fall down. Plus some stuff too

My villain outfit = The blight

I didn't expect to win anything this contest but I actually might! I also got second place the last theme, I didn't expect it.

Anyway, I wanted to represent the blight without having the whole blight outfit on (mainly because I don't have it all) The tack and my top are from two sets and my signature is wide pants all the way. Also the witch gloves for the claws

What do y'all think? I hope it doesn't fall into the pre made boring outfits I've been seeing 🥲 I tried to mix it a bit

Hello, I wanna upgrade my leopard gecko to a bigger terrarium 120x45x45 cm. It's made out of pvc, from reptizoo.

Do you think it's a good choice? Does anyone have it?
