Are y'all omega or a alpha? 🫪

This is a very random question that popped in my head while reading an omegaverse manhwa and wanted to ask other ppl too what they think

What do yall consider yourselves you would be like if we were living in an omegaverse world...would you have been an omega Alpha maybe a beta? And what kind of mc would you be those naive pushover types of badass power bottoms same with ml what kinda would you be toxic or green flags ones

Did people create god just for hope?

My friend and I are having a friendly debate and I wanted some outside perspectives

She claims religion/God is basically just a coping mechanism humans invented it for hope, fear of death, and psychological comfort. In her view it’s just an evolutionary self-protection thing

I’m atheist/agnostic but I honestly think that take is kind of reductive.

Even if God isn’t real reducing all religious belief to “people are scared and need hope” feels too simplistic. Religion has shaped entire civilizations, philosophies, moral systems, and personal experiences in ways that don’t neatly fit into just “coping.”

It almost feels like saying “People only believe because they’re weak or afraid” which doesn't sit right with me and I’m not getting the right words to form my arguments. So.....

Do you think religion can really be explained mostly as a psychological need for hope?

Or is that view too reductive even from a non-believer’s perspective?

Genuinely want some good arguments and opinions

I feel uncomfortable always being on the receiving end in my relationship

Me (18F) and my girlfriend (18F) have been together for 3 years and overall our relationship is really good We don’t have major issues and we genuinely get along well.

But there’s one thing that’s been bothering me a lot

and I don’t know how to handle it

Since the beginning of our relationship she’s always been the one giving gifts, snacks, handmade things, etc (even in intimacy) It’s really sweet and I do appreciate it But it’s not occasional it’s not really often but still quite often

We’ve been long distance for the past 2 years so we only meet once or twice a year. Even when we meet she insists on paying for everything on dates no matter how much I try to pay or split She just won’t let me

Recently it was her birthday and I tried really hard to make it special I gave her 18 gifts for her 18th birthday. For a whole month before that I kept asking if she wanted anything specific and she never told me anything She’s also the type of person whose interests are hard to figure out so it was stressful trying to decide and then on that day she still gave me a bunch of gifts Things I had casually mentioned before on chat (I'm quite talkative so i speak to her about almost everything and she remembered it) It honestly made me feel bad because it was supposed to be her day

This isn’t a one-time thing Whenever I try to get her something she refuses For example once she mentioned buying scarfs and I offered to buy them for her she said no. I even tried sending her money so she could get them herself and she literally sent it back.

Our anniversary is coming up and again she won’t tell me what she wants. Also my birthdays coming up she insists on getting me things and even emotionally pressures me into telling her what I want eventually i always give up and tell her cuz she says that I don't love her that's why I'm not telling her

I understand that giving gifts might be her love language and I really do appreciate her efforts. But it’s starting to make me uncomfortable. I don’t want to always be on the receiving side it's getting too materialistic...I want to do things for her too.

Sometimes I get so overwhelmed I feel like crying because I don’t know how to reciprocate especially since we’re long distance and gifts are one of the main ways I can express love

Also I was always the person with low expectations and I don't wanna get it ruined i fear I'll become too spoiled like this and my expectations might raise

I don't know what to do

Need advice please...

Rushed endings

What is up with almost every manhwa i see having rushed endings...It kinda gets disappointing when you are expecting great things towards the end and suddenly the ending gets rushed I mean they r not bad endings but as the readers we hv some expectations of the ending and it just doesn't feel that good seeing it rushed

TGCF ruined my standards and im not even mad

I genuinely can't get over tgcf and I will never be they are the peak definition of love for me. I literally cry from happiness rereading it

I will always adore their relationship it was so obvious they both wanted each other however it also makes my heart ache knowing how hua cheng waited 800 years for xie lian and was ready to wait even more just to see him again. They both had their flaws but their love was even more...I will always love the relationship they had and wish if I could hv same 😔

Help find this manhwaa

Uhh i think I won't get an answer for this but still it won't hurt to try I guess

I don't even remember much not even how they looked anymore since I read it 4-5 years back I think and forgot the name now

It was something like the mc was from a wealthy family some sort of mafia i think?probably Italy or Spain kinda place he belonged to...But he ran away from there to some other place (don't remember where) also his family were looking for him and was ready kind of naive innocent types when he reached he was pickpocketed so he lost his wallet and passport and was basically homeless now...one day wandering outside a cafe where ml worked he saw the mc being homeless and all so he brought him in i think and fed him asked and all that and when talked to the manager (it was a girl) mc was given a job in the cafe itself and he lived also in there only in back...I remember them sometimes cuddling/sleeping together in the back of the cafe on sofa ig...also there was a bit language prblm between them

I don't think it's enough but let's see

General advice needed (lesbian) I am 18F and my gf also 18F

We have been in a relationship for more than 3 years now just for the context...also this is my first time writing here so idk what I'm doing but I hope it will be understandable.

Basically my gf is very pretty and I mean it she's the perfect type of girl you would look for be it looks or her personality she always stands out in the crowd.

And uhh idk what I'm even gonna say atp i think it's stupid but I have always been insecure of myself from childhood people even friends used to comment on my skin colour or face or smth smth u understand so I am the type to not be really confident in who i am. Now imagine starting dating the prettiest girl in the class at first I didn't think much of it but then when I think my personality also not great like i push ppl because I fear they will leave me i hv never had any close friends so i never really had anyone to open up and it just made me push ppl or avoidant i think u can say? I am very open to my gf about this all I have spoken to her about this and she just answers it's because she loves me but ik she deserves so much better than me....In general I feel she's so pretty and im not how could someone love me? Or she has so many friends she hangs out with and I just have her.

I really love my gf I really do i don't want any obstacle to be created because of me that could lead to being distant we are already in ldr from a year and it's hard for us. i really needed some advice so I can work on myself but I didn't know where to go
