The ones I used have stopped working and I am unable to find any😣

I haven't told this to anyone. I've been keeping it to myself for so long that now it's unbearable.

I am not a Pakistani. I used to live in a faraway country where everything was sunshine and rainbows. I had two elder brothers who used to take very good care of me and loving parents too.

My life was going pretty smoothly. Until one day, war started. It did what it had to and boomm everything around me was gone. My family became ashes. Everyone around me, everyone who cared for me were gone.

All the sunshine and rainbows turned into a dark neverending storm. The country which started the war took the alive ones and threw them in random ships.

That's how I came to this country. I didn't know anyone here. Nor did I know their language. I used to sleep on the streets and beg for my survival.

Then one day, a kid came up to me when I was picking an apple from gutter. He was none other than my current younger brother. Out of nowhere, he started to beat me bcz I was ugly. Then a bit older kid came to stop him.

But looking at me made him beat me too. After taking a long beating from them, a pretty girl came and stopped them. I thought finally someone is standing up for me.

But to my horror, she said this ugly shi- should be beaten quite often. So they took me home and that's how I met my current family.

Also I am interested in physics, I just want, you may call it, confirmation.

Recommend me some books read as a beginner. I have read a couple of books before but mostly Urdu novels. Now I want to explore English books.

I have read The kite runner and The couple next door. So suggest me some good books to hook me on.
