I moved to Perth about a month ago and have taken mental notes up a bunch of words and phases that are new to me despite being a native english speaker, however I haven’t used much in conversation because I’m afraid it will come off weird, off putting, or trying too hard. Is it polite/ a sign of respect to the culture to incorporate these use words as a non-Aussie or is that not something I should do?

I figure it is almost definitely okay when the American version of the word wouldn’t make sense like eskie vs cooler, but what about the ones that are just more fun like heaps vs lots?

I need an Australian phone number via eSIM for the next 6 months, but I don’t want to lose my American number associated with ATT. How do I proceed?

I had gone a week before this and I was having a bad day so I went to a random corner store and they sold me a counterfeit geek max which I mistook for a geek bar. It was suspiciously cheaper but idk I thought it was just a stroke of good luck because I was in a different neighborhood.

This vape has made me feel sick, hurting my throat and not sitting right in my chest. It also auto fires for like 5 seconds so I have to turn it off when I’m done hitting it and sometimes I have to suck in first, the battery is super bad, honestly this is a terrible vape all around but I’m most worried about my health because idk what’s in this.

Has anyone had this before and will I be ok? I’m nervous to quit but I seriously am so fed up with this I get no joy from vaping any more.
