Help me clean the AT-AT 😡

I’m angry because I accidentally used soap. Like a dumb person. No achievement for this guy. This thing is huge and I gotta do it TWICE. Definitely let some expletives loose.

I have a mic but getting over a cold so prefer to not talk.

Apparently it’s not a guarantee, and no, they don’t cover it. It was the ENTIRE tip. Anything I can do?

I have called support twice and once put on hold indefinitely and then hung up on. I’m livid.

What do I do, Corolla family? My heart is basically shattered in two. Damn did I eff up.

I was dropping off a DoorDash order at someone’s house, and when I pulled up to the curb, apparently there was an area where the street started slanting towards the curb all of a sudden. Like I had to back up to get out of it.

I was already quoted 300+ to repair. Would you guys just live with it? I’m so distraught. I feel like I swallowed a box of nails. My poor baby.

I can’t even accept 30/100 orders, man.

So it’s obvious from my own experience that you need at least Gold status not for better deliveries but to schedule basically anything at all. I was green two weeks ago, loaded up Friday at 10am, literally nothing. Well just about nothing. Last Friday, 10am, handful of decent shifts to go by.

The acceptance rate requirement is 30%. That’s not even that bad. But the trash I’ve been getting ever since they implemented this stupid ass program is unjustifiable. Job market is complete trash so I feel like I’m stuck. I keep hearing “wait until summer is over and everyone is done doing gig work” but that just don’t seem it’s gonna be true either.

Just venting.

Stop. Just… don’t. Don’t do this anymore.

Thoughts and prayers for either your Acceptance Rate or suspension.

Which will you sacrifice? Even this Platinum driver chooses to pray for the Acceptance Rate. No one likes doing these. No one wants to do these. They pay terribly, the items are more often outrageous than not. Like how the hell am I gonna put SIX of you largest tote containers you have in my Corolla? It’s some shady ass BS really.

“54170” with my talented brother Derrek on the keys!

The kit I’m using is my Roland TD516.

The kit samples I’m using are from the eDrum Workshop’s “Snap! Crackle! Pop!” kit pack, the cymbals being used are all modified from Roland’s stock sounds except for the ride which is a Paiste 2002 from the Canadian Cymbal Pack from the Roland Cloud.

Hope you all enjoy!

So weird to lie about Shopping Orders specifically.

You give me a list, I get everything on that list by scanning the barcodes of the items of said list, and it’s all the wrong items? Huh? Do you think I just scanned the correct items, put them back on the shelf, and got something completely different?

And by the way, no absolute way this was the wrong house to drop off at because I’ve shopped for her before. Never had a problem. Also, I didn’t respond to this message. It was 15 minutes after drop off anyway.

Bro f**k off with this already🙄

  1. Yes, I clicked all of the boxes for “tell us the reason for you wait”. Stop telling people to do that because it doesn’t work.
  2. I literally wasted no time here. Except oh guess what? They had two drinks that needed to be filled, and they don’t fill them until you get there because they don’t want the soda to get flat.

Which took all of maybe an extra minute and a half.

F 100 deliveries to do it perfectly, especially when 3 minutes is late?! So no long waits, flawless road conditions, no issues finding customers like gate codes or parking… this kinda floored me yesterday.
5. This is the one thing that means the most points in my Platinum rating. And Plat absolutely makes a difference where I live.

Luca… makes me contemplate reincarnation.

Luca is the first picture, Uno is the second.

In 2019, I lost my best friend, Uno, at 4 years old to uncontrollable epilepsy. The same day, I was fired from my job because I was sick on inventory day, the only day I ever called out in my 7 months of employment. Uno was heavily sedated under 5 different drugs when I said goodbye to him. He was basically lifeless and didn’t move from the sedation… except for when it was my turn to say goodbye. His paw fluttered a bit as to say “I can’t tell you thank you Josh, but I can show you”. That happened 7 years ago and my eyes are watering writing that.

The last few weeks I am realizing how much of Uno is in Luca. He wants to play with ME more than anyone else. Like how Uno wanted to walk with me almost exclusively. Luca is most calm in MY car, just like Uno was. He is virtually perfect in every way; very affectionate, he doesn’t bark at vacuums or doorbells, he’s calm around strangers… I love him like he’s my child and everyone he is around loves him.

Luca came into my life 3 months after Uno passed and it makes me wonder, ya know? Is Luca actually Uno living the life he never got to live? Either way, Luca has healed me in ways only an Iggy could. Bless these creatures, man.

The new system is really making no sense to me.

Right now, I am currently gold, I’m guessing because I had it majority of last month and they’re giving me a little trial run or something. I don’t know.

Supposedly gold is supposed to give you the good orders over green tier, but the thing is, all of the bangers that I have been given or taken haven’t been one of those “includes a gold symbol thing for priority” except for one. And the majority of any gold priority orders have been kinda mid.

Are the tiers even worth it? That’s a stupid DoorDash question that’s been asked a thousand times, I know. Accepting three out of every 10 orders wouldn’t be that hard for me to do, but you know what would be? Maintaining the on-time metric when pickups AND drop offs are included. I honestly don’t ever see this getting past 80% for me. There’s many a time where I will pick up a Safeway order, but since it’s a “flash order” that both the driver and store get pretty close to the same time together, it’s for sure gonna be late.

I don’t know what to make of this. How are you guys doing with the new system?

I want to do a huge shoutout to Luke at The EDrum Workshop!

I bought the Snap Pop and Crunch pack from him a few days ago for my Roland V51 (TD-516) and these kits sound freaking AMAZING! As I scroll through them, I keep saying, “this is my favorite one” just to scroll again and repeat myself.

I have a keyboard and drum project with my best friend, and a rap project with him and our other friend, and I am excited to use a little more of an acoustic sound to these songs we’re gonna make. On the sucker punch kit, I even tried a fill I didn’t know I was capable of doing, because I wanted to see how the bass drum and toms complimented each other, as I haven’t had much luck with that when creating my own kits with the module sounds.

They were incredibly easy to install, just download and upload basically. It’s also crazy how much better Luke’s kits sound than even the Roland Cloud ones do. I have tried all of the Cloud kits, and while I have a small handful of favorites, Luke’s one pack has almost nothing but bangers. The Roland TD516 is my first e-kit, so I wasn’t previously introduced to his work, but I have subscribed to him on all platforms and look forward to the future treats from his craft. I also want to see a special thank you to all of you, because I had no idea he existed until I joined this sub!

P.S- he even said he would take time to help me figure out the perfect sound I can get from this pack. Just a real nice guy who values his base and stand behind his work!

Happy Memorial Day, y’all. 🙏

Total was $303.60 worth of food, so about a 20% tip. A proper tip indeed, and it was going to a small nursing home too. Set me up to make $111 driving about 30 miles today. I was on an elevated mood all day after this one! Many blessings to y’all!

Pro tip: never go immediately on a green light. Give yourself a Mississippi or two.

It’s kinda sad that if I ever have to teach someone how to drive, I would have toI tell them that green lights don’t mean automatically proceed to drive. Even though they should.

I just feel like this individual wasn’t paying any attention. I think I didn’t automatically go because I was briefly checking if the car across was going to drive straight or they were turning, but I need to remember this Mississippi rule myself.

No rush. There’s nobody behind me, and I wanted to test my brakes anyway.

OK so full confession: the speed limit on this road is 40 miles an hour. I am ready to take my lumps and down votes for going 45.

However, I was slowing down to 40 miles an hour (because I assumed she was going to pull out like this) and it still doesn’t justify pulling out this slow especially when there wasn’t a car behind me.

Luca never “hounds” me while I’m eating. Just patiently waits for the plate after I finish. 😂❤️

I swear these dogs are rigid creatures of habit. If I’m eating, he’s sitting there. Every. Time. Because at some point in our 7 years together I let him lick my plate like twice in a row or something. Luca will sit there all day too, exactly like a statue.

“House is on fire? Sorry. I’ve got priorities!”

Maybe mild-ish, but still very lame!

Extra lame to me because their front wheel makes it difficult for someone to open their door.
