Eu estava no OmeTV com a minha namorada. Às vezes, gostamos de entrar lá só para conversar com pessoas diferentes.
Em certo momento, encontramos um rapaz que morava no Japão e começamos a conversar. Ele parecia ser bem tranquilo, e ficamos falando sobre como era viver no Japão e coisas do tipo.
Até que meu sogro apareceu por acaso e começou a interagir com ele. Então, o rapaz perguntou ao meu sogro:
“Você não sabe o que ele me falou aqui sobre a sua filha.”
Naquele momento, todo mundo começou a dar aquela risadinha, mas eu fiquei um pouco desconfortável, porque não sabia o que ele poderia falar em seguida.
Então ele continuou:
“Ele disse que a sua filha passa fome à noite.”
Assim que ele falou isso, eu discretamente pulei para a próxima pessoa, porque senti que poderia vir algum comentário completamente desrespeitoso. Caso isso acontecesse, provavelmente ficaria um clima muito constrangedor e poderia até sobrar para mim.
Porém, até agora não sei o que ele pretendia dizer. Alguém conhece essa piada de “sua filha passa fome à noite”? Fiz bem em encerrar a conversa antes de ouvir o restante?

I’ve been working in the OFM space for a while, and one thing kept coming up:
