My 6 year old is spending 8 weeks in a different state with a father she only met a few months ago. How can I prepare her for what he will do? He’ll blame his absence on me; he’ll position his wife as mom; he’ll insist they are called mom and dad; he won’t let me speak to her.

She has never spent a single night with him but courts gave him 8 weeks of summer. The first time they met, three police units were called to scene cause he tried to take her into his car alone after being in rehab and absent for 6 years.

How can I discourage him from exercising this summers visits?

And tell me whether it looks viable based on their experience with DV courts?
