Can discussing a counter offer with HR lead to the offer being withdrawn?

Hi everyone,

I have an offer from Deloitte USI, and my joining date is August 3.

I recently received another offer with better compensation. If I discuss this with Deloitte HR and ask whether they can match or improve the offer, is there any chance they could withdraw my offer?

Has anyone negotiated with Deloitte HR after receiving the offer? How did it go?

Thanks in advance!

Selling Cultpass Play Membership (Valid till Jan 2027)

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to sell/transfer my Cultpass Play membership, which is valid until 8 January 2027. Unfortunately, I suffered a Grade 3 ankle ligament tear injury and won’t be able to participate in sports or play activities for the next 4–5 months, so I’m unable to make use of the membership.

Details:

Membership: Cultpass Play
Validity: Till 8 Jan 2027
Location: Anywhere in India
Price: ₹5,000
Reason for selling: Grade 3 ankle ligament tear injury; unable to play for the next 4–5 months.

This is a good opportunity for anyone looking for a long-validity Cult membership at a reasonable price.
If interested, please DM me for more details.
Thanks!

Mapped to a new requisition after offer release — should I expect a revised offer letter?

Anyone received a revised offer letter after being mapped to a new requisition during the hiring process?

Has anyone seen “Matched to a New Requisition” after receiving a Deloitte offer?

Hi everyone,

I received my offer letter from Deloitte about a month ago and completed all the required BGV (background verification) details shortly after.

Until recently, my application status was showing something like “Waiting for background verification results.” However, yesterday I received an email asking me to apply for a new position. When I checked the portal, my original application status had changed to “Matched to a new requisition.”

At the same time, a new application has been created with the status “Offer in Progress.”

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is this just an internal requisition change, or should I be concerned about my offer or onboarding process?

My joining date is in August, so I’m a bit confused about why this happened.

Thanks in advance for any insights.

Deloitte USI BGV status stuck on “Waiting for BGV verification results”

My joining date at Deloitte is August first week.

I received the BGV mail around 10 days back and submitted all the required documents/details on time. But in the candidate portal, the application status is still showing:

“Waiting for BGV verification results”

Is this normal?
How long does BGV usually take in Deloitte USI before the status changes?

Also, is there any way to track detailed BGV progress or do we only have to wait for HR updates?

Hi everyone,

I recently got an offer from Deloitte USI for MS Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Consultant role.

Before I accept, I want to understand the real situation from people who are already working there in the same domain.

- What kind of projects are you working on? (implementation / support / upgrade)
- Do you get good hands-on development work or mostly support tasks?
- How is the learning and growth over time?
- How is the work-life balance in actual projects?
- Do fresh joiners get good opportunities or does it depend on luck/project?

Right now, my main focus is to work on good projects and improve my skills, so I want to avoid getting stuck in low learning work.

Please share your honest experience, it will really help me decide.

Thanks in advance 🙏

I’ve completed all 3 interview rounds at Deloitte. After that, I submitted the PHT survey form and had an HR discussion about salary.

Everything seemed to go fine, and HR said they will get back after internal approvals.

Just wanted to check with others:

- How long did it take to receive the offer letter after this stage?

- Is this usually a final step, or are there chances of delays/rejections even now?

It’s been a few days, so trying to understand what’s normal here.

Thanks!
