Looking for a Bachelor Flat in Durban Is R6,500 Enough?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a furnished place to rent in Durban. It can be a bachelor flat, apartment, cottage, or small house. Ideally, it should already have basic furniture and appliances such as a bed, couch, stove, and other essentials.

I'm open to staying in the city centre or in any safe suburb around Durban.

My budget is around R6,500 per month. Is that enough to find a decent furnished place, or should I expect to pay more?

I'd appreciate any advice, recommendations, or suggestions on good areas to look in.

Thanks in advance!

Best places to learn cellphone repairs in KwaZulu-Natal/South Africa?

Hey everyone. I’m based in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa and I’m looking for good places to learn cellphone/mobile phone repairs.

I’m interested in learning things like:

Screen replacements

Charging port repairs

Battery replacements

Diagnosing phone problems

Basic soldering/motherboard repairs

I’m near Pietermaritzburg/Durban, but I’m also open to online courses or other places in South Africa.

If you know any good places, prices, or your personal experience, please share. Thanks 🙏

Red Notice vs Snowman Which book is more interesting?

I’m trying to choose between reading Red Notice and The Snowman.

I like books with tension, smart characters, twists, adrenaline, and moments that make you want to keep turning pages. I enjoy crime, mystery, action, and psychological stuff.

Which one is more interesting overall?

Which one hooks you faster?

Which one has better suspense/twists?

Which one is harder to put down?

What short courses helped you get opportunities or skills?

What are the best short courses to do right now that are actually worth it?

I’m looking for something practical that can help with jobs, online work, business, tech, communication, or digital skills. Preferably beginner friendly and affordable?

Any recommendations or personal experiences?
