I am not your content.

This is a follow up to a previous posts about filming during Zumba classes.

I thought I had found two wonderful instructors but the constant filming by them and their regulars have ruined it. I totally understand doing a little bit of filming during a song as long as attendees have the choice to move out of frame. But doing it through almost the whole class is absolutely riduculous.

I let each instructor know that I didn't like to be filmed and posted to social media. They both took my feedback extremely well. So I returned to class. The instructor let me know she had informed people to not film me on the side and to let her see the video before they posted it. The filming ended up being the worst it has ever been. It felt like mean girl energy. Two of them leaned their phones up against their water bottles on the edge of the class getting everyone in the shot. I moved away from the whole group. Then they'd run up with their phone to film it from the front. The worst one didn't even dance the last song.

Just enjoy the class and quit filming! The instructor asked me if I was ok after class and I said, no, it was ridiculous and felt uncomfortable. She acts empathetic and says her sisters and other women don't like it. I asked if the ones filming were content creators and she said yes. I said, I don't want to be their content. It is absolutely unacceptable to pay for a class and be treated as marketing content. These are not cheap classes, they are in studios, pay per class.

I'm so over it. I found a gym with Zumba that doesn't allow filming. Is the instructor as good? Not really but I'm more comfortable.

Mike Prysner's Testimony on Iraq

As we may be sending another Tulsi to the senate, it's important to listen to Mike Prysner's testimony to hear what a soldier with regret sounds like. And see his actions over the years to help people get out of the military and prevent them from joining.

Constant recording of classes.

I miss the days when we could just dance without being recorded and photos being taken and uploaded to social media. I really like the instructors I found after looking for a long time. However, every class is either them or one of their regulars taking videos and photos and then I see it on social media. Permission is never asked.

Now I have to decide if it's even worth talking to them about or just finding a new instructor again who doesn't. Literally, every class out of the last 10.

Waar kan ik palmharten kopen?

Hallo allemaal, weten jullie waar ik palmharten kan kopen? Ik heb alle winkels afgezocht, ook bij Amazing Oriental, maar ik kan ze nergens vinden.

Peter Joseph has been working on a project called Integral that is really interesting. I think it's hard for people to absorb and even I have to keep listening and reviewing his communications to completely understand it. He's always been a proponent of a resource economy. As I understand it, he's putting together a roadmap for small nodes to create mini societies that are post monetary, cooperative, technical but cultural. Everyone is working toward a positive end. Dominance will be shut down with a regulatory process, there will be no hierarchy and competition will not be rewarded.

I'm wondering what others opinions are and if anyone has joined in to create a node.
