Smart watches: Noooo u have to charge me every 1.5-3 Days
Some Casio with 10 year battery: 🔋 🗿🗿
In other words, The Coros Pace 3 has served me well and it will remain on rotation especially but I'm gonna try this watch all week. I originally thought being able to read your sms messages via watch was an advantage, I think all it did was make me more distracted.
Someone pointed out here that US Walmarts had these in stock. I was home sick on Friday. Had a $20 unused Walmart and same day delivery was available. Tappity tap and four hours later, I had this. What a very useful thing this is! The vibration alarm is plenty enough to wake me up and the backlight is great. Also very legible. It will be my new sleepy time watch. Although I’ve been wearing it since it arrived…
is a G-Shock alternative—not really. The W738 has a 10-year battery life, easy-to-use timer buttons, a quick-light button, and a vibration alert. The vibration alert is useful for alarms while travelling on public transport without disturbing fellow passengers, and also for timing laps while jogging or running with earphones/headphones on.
For less than INR 3,000, it is a great watch. Added advantage, it fits my 8-year-old son too. The resin seems well made, though it can gather scratches easily. Added a cheap screen protector to protect it from my son’s cycling adventures.
The green colour adds ruggedness to the character, and my son raves about it.
Absolutely loving the W738H. Readability is just perfect and it wears so well. Already looking into getting the other colorways 😅
I was in Japan about a month ago and forgot to pick these up. I got a few higher end watches when I was there, but somehow these slipped my mind. I wanted the classic A159 and a W738H (vibration alarm). I could have bought them online, but since my friend was there, I just asked him to pick them up for me.
The 159's were about $10 each and the 738 was about $40. Saved a bit of cash and got the classic made in Japan 159 I've always wanted. The next time I go back (next year), I'm going to pick up a few more G-Lides, etc. I highly recommend a trip to Japan if you want to pick up some JDM only models and/or want to save some cash!
