Faulty connection between earphones and iPhone.

My wired earphones has an issue that lies within the volume threshold. It has a slider that functions as a plus and minus when it comes to volume, but if I am to turn the audio up by a notch it’s way too loud (Dead silence to ear rupture loudness). I’m unable to lower the volume directly on my iPhone for whatever reason while I’m using the earphones. Another thing that stood out was that whenever I’m on a call with somebody whilst using Spotify (or any other background media), the volumes lower sound levels become much clearer - meaning I could pick up quieter sounds. But by the time the call ends theres an audio spike that deafens you. Is there any way to fix this through my phone or is the problem entirely because of my earpieces?

Thanks in advance
