I’ve noticed that people don’t really follow the pedestrian crossing signal.
Like the road is empty and there’s no cars around/coming so it only makes sense.
I’m not saying I stood there while the others crossed, since i’ve heard so much about the strictness about following the signals (like the cars at midnight follow traffic signals).
So i just wanted to ask, in general is this normal or is it only where i’m currently residing?
I avoid doing breaking it when i’m alone out of fear of being judged (since i’m indian and I don’t think there’s a very good impression of us so it’s just best to represent myself the best lol) and just wanting to follow the rules as a regular person would lol.
Is it allowed/understandable to cross given there’s no cars comings?

So i’m fairly experienced with playing football.
But when i see teams on tv, if they’re taking a free kick or a corner, they adjust the ball a lot while placing it.
Rotating it and placing it somewhere else and back.
Is this a time wasting tactic or is there some “magic” behind this?

I’ve gotten a german flag to support (you guessed it) germany for the world cup.
What are the etiquettes to follow for the flag?
I’m indian, and in india the flag is very respected to a point where it’s always folded properly when stored, shouldn’t touch the ground ever, etc
I went to a public viewing spot where people were lousily putting the flag in their pockets/side pockets.
I want to make sure to respect it!

I recently paid my enrollment fee for Hochschule Aalen.
I made a SWIFT bank transfer on Monday and it’s Saturday at the time of writing this post.
Does it usually take this long?
I’ve submitted all of my documents and pretty much everything is in check and confirmed by the international office.
However, they don’t seem to reply to my Fee Status emails lol.
In your experience how long goes it take?

I live in essen.
As a foreigner, it’s really difficult to find friends. Especially now with the world cup, i thought it’s a good way to meet new people. We can maybe go to bars (though i don’t drink haha) to watch!
I also play football (i’m insanely bad…and new) so if you want to go to a public field to kick around i’m down!
Other than that I also game every now and then, Terraria, Minecraft, Fc26, Etc (Steam)
Apart from that, a little bit about the content i love: Sidemen, Clarksons Farm, Top gear/Grand Tour, DanTDM

I’ve set up an OpenVPN server on my router at my home place (not in germany, home place has no laws on piracy).
However, I’m not sure how much of clearance will i get with piracy using openvpn
I would mostly like to stream and download games.
I’ve avoided doing most of the things without a vpn or at all here due to the strict laws.
So i just wanted to know what all things can I do safely using this OpenVPN server?
Will this be an equivalent to other vpn services like Nord/Express VPN?
