NFHS Network on Strong8k

Has anyone ever had luck with NFHS Network on Strong8k (or any other service, for that matter)? I subscribe throughout sports seasons, and last year I tried to find a local team stream via NFHS section on multiple occasions to no avail. I just wondered if anyone had any luck. It appears to be somewhat niche since I've never seen anyone mention it. I've been able to get some streams from the channels, others that are broken, but none were any games of note to me. I've had a bit more luck with Flo in some cases, but that's all college athletics.

So, has anyone been able to use Strong or any other service for accessing NFHS and other relatively niche networks reliably, or are networks like NFHS something I just have to bite the bullet on or otherwise miss out on?

EDIT for clarity: I understand that the streams work. I have gotten the streams to work, as I stated above. What I am asking is if anyone who watches high school content has ever been able to actually find local team's streams they are looking for. I've never been able to. I don't believe I've ever seen a stream from my state even, which has kind of made the NFHS section a bit of a letdown. Kind of like having a carrot on a stick dangled in front of my face lol.

Looking For Radio to Buy as Gift

I was showing my Baofeng and Quansheng to my brother tonight, and he expressed interest in getting into radio. I'm very happy to hear this since most everyone else I know seems uninterested. His true goal is to transmit between friends, family, etc from his house or in the vehicle.

His birthday is coming up, and I was recently considering adding the TIDRADIO TD-H3 to my arsenal. I was wondering if this radio would be a good choice to get him into the hobby? Other suggestions are welcome. I know some of these transceiver models are a bit controversial, but at the price- it seems like a great way to get people into radio without breaking the bank. I also love all the modifications you can do with these different radio brands.

He isn't currently licensed for ham radio, so most contact would be via FRS/GMRS. I also thought maybe some sort of base CB may be in order since he isn't licensed, making simplex contact more important. I'm trying to make the right decision. If this isn't a good experience, he won't consider putting in the effort to get his ham license.

Thanks, everyone!

What to Purchase With RTL-SDR Blog V4 Line Ending

TL;DR at the bottom.

As most of us know by now- the RTL-SDR V4 is no longer available. Luckily, I was able to purchase two V4s before this happened. I have 3 total RTL-SDR Blog SDRs, but I recently sold my RSP1a in hopes of something different. While it is a fine SDR, I kind of hate that it isn't supported in some apps I use. More importantly, I can only track one mode/system at a time.

I have two RTL-SDRs tracking a P25 system, another feeding ADS-B. This leaves me with nothing else to search with. I considered either an RSP1B and/or 2-3 RTL-SDR V4s, but with the latter not an option anymore- I'm not sure where to go from here. Most of my scanning is VHF/UHF. No full time HF antenna placed currently. I want HF as a viable option, mostly to hear DX calls (when I decide on long wire/mag loop). I never looked into Nooelec since RTL-SDR Blog was largely considered top dog. V3 at same price of the V4 hurts, unless I don't have a better choice in that range. There are plans for a V4L soon with a couple trade-offs. A V5 will be produced in the coming year(s). Should I wait? Purchase a higher quality HF/VHF/UHF radio like RSP1B, Airspy, etc, then wait for the V4L or V5? Maybe a TX capable SDR?

TL;DR- I am looking for suggestions on what to purchase for VHF/UHF (and HF at some point) now that the V4 is gone after I recently sold my RSP1a and need a "free" radio. Go back to V3? Purchase a higher quality SDR then wait for V4L/V5? Go for something with TX and have some fun with that? Other?

Voicemeeter Potato Challenge Code Changed After Updating and Restarting

I am running Windows 11 Pro. I needed to restart my computer after installing something. Since there was a Windows update pending, I decided to go ahead and do it. I restarted my computer and noticed my PC was deaf when the PC rebooted. I went to check Voicemeeter, and it said it was unlicensed. It looks like the challenge code changed. Why did this happen?

I am concerned for future updates/restarts or whatever caused this because it is my understanding you only get one regen unless there is a Voicemeeter update that causes the challenge code to change, though I am still not entirely clear on whether that is per a set amount of time or per lifetime. I assume there is no way to get it to change back. Did the Windows update trigger something? I may decide to skip out on regenerating the response for now since I have been considering a clean install on my PC due to some odd issues I have had recently.
