My grandad’s old film camera was recently passed on to me and I have completely fallen in love with photography. I’m still learning but I hope you enjoy some highlights from my Download Festival 2026.

I’ve been to the festival a bunch of times before and carrying the camera around with me felt really special. Having that connection with my grandad and experiencing Download in a completely different way was an absolute joy.

I loved talking to random people and taking their picture and may have stumbled on a love of portrait photography.

I’ve recently inherited my Grandad’s old film camera and have completely fallen in love with photography. I’m still learning but really stoked with how some of these turned out! I hope you enjoy these highlights from my time at Download 2026.

The final image in this collection is unfortunately extremely depressing. This was taken of a small section of Orange Camp. I could have pointed my camera at any part of that site and it would have told the same story. My experience of Download has always been a positive one, everyone I’ve ever met has been sound. But this, this shit is just unacceptable. Take your shit home.

I’ve been searching for something to channel my creativity for years now. I stopped playing music in bands a while ago and have been craving an outlet that sticks ever since.

When my Grandad died more than 10 years ago, my cousin inherited his old Fujica STX-1 and he’s now passed it on to me. It’s been quite emotional wondering around, taking pictures with a piece of my family’s history and at the same time exciting and interesting to be learning a new skill.
