Im pretty lost to be honest, I see those easycap things and then comments saying they are crap, but im pretty stuck on what to do since my budget isnt huge and anything from amazon is expensive to ship and takes a month, so i want to be sure. Can someome give me a rundown on how I can record videos with this camera (not just suggesting i buy another camera) without getting myself scammed? I also have a raspberry pi4b if using that as a middle man makes any difference.

Please be kind, im.just trying to get my parents camera recording again.

Pretty much as title says, I am an Automation Engineer with 1 years experience. I am looking for work in the tron and am wondering if anyone has any potential openings, since seek and indeed and such are very empty.

I have experience in PLC/SCADA programming and hold an Honours in Mechatronics Engineering.
