Always someone who's got to ruin it for everyone 🙄

Thanks too that asshole who jumped In the zoo is discussing banning all filming there, and maybe it's just a scare tactic to stop others but either way if we lose our on punch content because of one guy I'm going to be so fucking mad

Warmings to people looking for other monkeys content else where

TRIGGER WARNING: mentions of Injuries and torture to monkeys

So like a lot of you I wasn't really interested in monkeys before punch (in fact I use to hate monkeys but punch has given me a new perspective and appreciation on them) so with all this content from the zoo it made me wonder if theirs other Monkeys with names and stories out there? Unfortunately I did find what I was looking for and after doing a deep dive into it I realised how awful it is. The short version is theirs national parks in other parts of the world with not the exact same species as punch but very close where monkeys live in troups. At first it seemed cute with them having names and drama but the more it went on the worse it got, firstly seemed like lot of monkeys where fighting eachother or "hurting" their own babies with some even resulting in death. But unfortunately the sad truth of the matter is it's a whole career for people over there to film these monkeys and create drama for content and views this can be as simple as giving them junk food they aren't supposed to have which not only messes with their stomachs, but creates aggression in some and some times seeing a badly injured monkey and not reporting it to the locals to help. Other cases include straight up torture with them intimidating the monkeys to create a reaction which can involve hurting their own babies as well hitting them with rocks or in some cases I saw spraying a two week old in the eye with lemon juice to create what they consider "monkeys freaking out for no reason". The reason for this post you might be wondering is to bring awareness to these situations and help you avoid them if you see them online and if you do to keep reporting them as unfortunately the only way they'll stop is if the people making the videos can't anymore. I'm sorry if this was upsetting to any of you it's upsetting seeing so many poor monkeys getting killed or harassed just for "content" so again if you are looking for monkey content please be careful what the pages you looking at are. It also gives me more appreciation for what the zoo does because I know some people think of them as animals prisons and they don't get to live their best lives, but after all I've seen id rather the worst thing they have to deal with be bordem and over grooming compared to what they'd have to face in the wild.

A 6th baby has been born! And the dangerous rope has been addressed!

For those unfamiliar with the rope situation with the new equipment a rope was tied in a way where it left a noose just big enough for punch to get his head through! But they have seen that and fixed it so Punch and the others are safe again.

The one who attacked punch and others

So I know we usually say oh it's not bullying it just scolding, but it this case it seems like the Monkey who hurt Punch for no reason last weekend has also been striking out at others for seemingly no reason! People have been able to tell it's the same due to the massive amount of missing fur on the side. Now what makes this interesting is one they were seen being groomed by Akira so definitely high ranking in the troup and also how they seem to maybe be pregnant (see the nipples in image one something I never thought I'd say) so lot of people think the lashing out is due to high anxiety pregnancy when close to birth. If that is correct and the case I hope they calm down once they give birth because as much as we might hate them in the moment for hurting punch all the monkeys deserve to live and be happy here too.

Love them or hate them it seems like especially with the success of Michael they aren't going away. So it made me think what ones will we likely see in the future, I know a Ozzy Osbourne one is apparently in the works at some studio, love her or hate her I feel like eventually in a long long while we will get a Taylor Swift movie which will no doubt be heavily sanatized by her and her team. I'd really like to see that cancelled Madonna movie one day.
