Hiii I’d love to meet some cool people to chat to and get to know.

Here’s a bit about me I play a lot of video games (baldurs gate 3, rainbow six siege, age of mythology, 7 days to die, palia, space marine 2, elden ring and Minecraft are just some of the ones I play)

I’m also a big dungeons and dragons fan and nerd so I’d love to set up a campaign at some point and whether I dm or someone else I’m open to whatever.

I’ve travelled quite a lot I’ve been to Australia, New Zealand (my grandmother is from there), I’d say maybe 60% of America and Canada.

I love movies and tv shows (favourite movie is tropic thunder and tv show is Hannibal ) I love watching YouTube as well.

I’m also into anime too

I know it’s probably nothing but I’ve had smash burgers from multiple different places all cooked perfectly well. However they have all made me violently unwell. I can eat normal ones fine without any issue but smash burgers for some reason I can’t.

A genie appears to you and offers you a proposal. For every year you agree to be sent back in time he will give you the £1000 or the equivalent in your currency. You will not age during the time no matter how many years you go back and although you won’t be immune to damage you will have a incredibly powerful healing ability so you will recover for any damage you sustained. You will also have no time to prep anything as soon as you agree the time travel is instant so unless you remember the results of any lottery results you wouldn’t be able to look up the numbers to bet on them.

You won’t be able to change history in any way and if you did then something that would happen to trigger it anyway.

Say for example you tried to stop the assassination that kick started the First World War. Well then the assassin would just run into the arch duke on a different street 10 minutes later.

You won’t receive the money until you return to the exact moment you take the deal. So if you agree on the 29th of July 2026 at 10:15am to bring sent back 5 thousand years then you won’t get the money until 29th of July 2026 at 10:15am.

How many years would you agree to be sent back?

I’ve just finished a road trip from the south of England to Scotland and back. One small thing I noticed that I’ve not seen anyone mention is the further north you go the less bowling seems to be popular compared to where I live there is loads. (I count at least 8 bowling alleys within a 45 minute drive of me)
However where bowling seems to decrease in popularity karaoke seems much more popular as I saw multiple establishments for karaoke and loads of restaurants/bars that had private rooms for karaoke.
If I’m wrong then I might just be but I’m solely commenting from what I observed and looked at on google maps to double check my observations.

So is there any other small differences like this?

So back in I think it be around the late 2000s early 2010s when how I met your mother first started picking up traction on E4. I’m not sure if I’m remembering it right since I was only small then but it’s been bugging me for a while whether it was my brain making it up or if it was a real ad.

I vaguely remember there being a ad for it where they were playing friends clips and HIMYM clips of each characters and comparing the characters with some kind premise that HIMYM was the new and better friends. I think they were trying to phase out the reruns of friends so they wanted people invested in the new show instead.
