Assisting someone who is not an employed Fed anymore but has 3+ years with Peace Corps, and about 9 years mix of FT and PT EFM positions. What's the process for accounting for those years and determining their retirement status, to include buy-back of Peace Corps years?
I forgot two items at the store and was in the middle of prepping to bake something. I quickly ordered the things by Uber Priority (an extra fee plus a tip). I got a response that it would be 30 minutes...perfectly acceptable. About 15 minutes later I saw a message saying, "Looking for your driver" or something like that.
I saw a new delivery time, nearly 1 hour longer! I quickly cancelled the order and got in my car to go get them myself. But customer service replied that since the driver accepted it I couldn't cancel. I repeatedly wrote that I wanted it cancelled and get the same reply. I messaged the driver the same - Cancel order. I must've sent 10 cancel messages in 20 minutes. In the end, I got my stuff and got home about 30 before the driver showed up (and I told him I cancelled it, again.)
Today I got a reply from Uber basically saying that since the driver accepted I was out of luck. I requested a refund, saying that once the first driver cancelled on me I was within my rights to cancel the delivery.
I'm going to cancel my Uber account if they refuse. I get credit card benefits with Lyft, and I use local ride share apps when I travel - cheaper and more reliable internationally.
Anyone have tips on getting refunded? Resolution?
I have 2 perfectly good Sabai routers, one Netgear and the other TPLink, that I want to sell. I am wondering if there's a reset protocol or if I should be concerned about what's on them before I sell them? I haven't used them in a while and don't need them anymore.
