Neck swelling/lump?

Neck swelling/lump?

20F, smoker, no medical conditions, taking vitamin d tablets.

Noticed what i thought was a lump in my neck about 4 months ago. Thought it was a swollen lymph node so i ignored it. Fast forwards to about a few weeks ago i noticed it’s still there. Went for a private ultrasound so i can get answer quickly, but nothing was found and was told its all okay. Decided to still go see a GP, she said let’s order another scan. However, i’m from the UK so those scans take months, as you have to wait for it.
Noticed that when i lift my head slightly, the area looks swollen/bigger. No infection or illness recently so i’m not sure if it is a swollen lymph node anymore. Both sides of the neck feel similar, so i can’t even tell if there is a lump anymore, and it’s worrying me as i literally cannot tell a difference between normal anatomy or something more serious.
I don’t think i have any symptoms apart from my neck feeling tight/stiff sometimes, but i also believe my anxiety plays a part in this.

Kind of worried now. Have to wait until the 28th for a second opinion from a different GP. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Pimple on tonsil pillar

Can anyone help? I have this little lump on my tonsil pillar, it blends in if my tongue isn’t out, but once i stick out my tongue and the pillars move you can see it. What is it?

Is it worth it for stones?

Hi guys. I’m considering a tonsillectomy for tonsil stones. My biggest fear is haemorrhaging and things going bad from there.. How risky is it actually for an adult? I’m 20F, i understand any surgery is risky, but I haven’t got through any major surgery so even the thought of being put to sleep scared me! Any advice, tips, opinions are appreciated!

So i first noticed this lump when i was ill, but i just assumed it was a lymph node and left it. Fast forwards a few months i realised it hasn’t actually gone away. I’m in the process of getting a GP appointment but in the UK it’s the weekend and Monday bank holiday. I went to an out of hours GP, she felt it and said it feels like a lymph node but to go to my normal GP and ask for a scan.

I now have to wait till Tuesday to schedule an appointment but my anxiety is getting worse thinking about this.

Can anyone help? I would really appreciate any input.

Hi. I need help!

When i was younger, i had pretty big brows, and got made fun of because of it, so i thinned them down and always walked around raising them. idk if that now caused one of them to be MUCH HIGHER when raised. For me now, it’s quite normal to raise my eyebrows. As you can see in the second picture, once i raise my eyebrows, the left one(left in the picture) just jumps up. They’re not sooo terribly uneven when they’re relaxed, but i raise them naturally without even realising. What can i do?
