[REVIEW] My first order with Janie

I recently ordered a pair of Mont Blanc MB0279O glasses with prescription lenses from Janie, and I had a great experience overall. She was always quick to reply, answered all my questions, and made the whole process easy to do.

I picked the frame I wanted, then I sent her my prescription, and everything, from ordering to making the lenses and then delivering them to me in the US, took 20 days.

I received the glasses today, and they’re awesome, I recommend Janie if you are looking for a reliable seller, that is helpful, and quick to respond.

What is going on?

Why are several people complaining about their shipments being in transit for several weeks or even months without any updates ir feedback from customer service? The only thing we are all getting is “be patient”. Is there something going on?

An honest review

I have placed few orders using Kakobuy, I have no complaints so far, the website is very intuitive and the process so far has been very smooth. The problem I see is shipping costs. The shipping costs have been increasing obviously due to the world costs of fuel. If you buy a pair of sneakers for US$45 and ship it to US it will cost in shipping around another US$55 if you pick UPS or USPS for example. The total will be US$100 when the same sneaker can be found sometimes on eBay for US$110. I see a lot of people ordering t-shirts and I can only imagine, is it worth it? Order from China was an option for all those people that wanted a decent clone at an affordable price, but is it still that affordable after all? Another point is the sizes, seriously they can make a perfect copy but cannot get the sizes right? My shoe size is US12, the first pair I bought was US12 and when I received it it was in fact an US11 with a US12 tag, the sweater I bought after measuring and measuring was ordered as 3XL, when I received it was smaller than the measures, how hard is it to have the right sizes since you sell a lot of products to the country? Please REFRAIN yourselves to nonsense comments, let’s try to be civilized as this post is just my personal review of the whole process.

Received my order today

After two weeks of transit my order arrived today. The sneaker is amazingly good, look just like the retail version I bought at the store. Very happy with the whole process.
One advice though, if you have the option buy half a size bigger, I order EU46 because my size is US12 and is right there, one millimeter more and it would be tight.
Besides that quality wise is a 10 to me.

Big size shoes

Most of the sneakers I look don’t go further than size 11, why is it so hard to make sizes 12 or 13? Selling Air Jordans which are basketball shoes no bigger than size 11 is comical.
