Started TRT despite normal T levels because of symptoms

I'm 39M, 83kg and just started TRT with Tostran gel (2 pumps/day) after discussing it with my urologist. I'm curious if anyone here has been in a similar situation because I don't seem to fit the "classic low T" profile.

I have to mention that I am also taking Reta for 7 weeks now (8mg per week) and I lost 20kg with Tirzepatide over the past 10 months.

Historically, my testosterone levels have always been within the normal range and have actually improved over the past few years. My latest labs before starting TRT showed a total testosterone of 22.7 nmol/L, free testosterone of 389 pmol/L, and SHBG of 42.5 nmol/L.

Despite these objectively good hormone levels, I continue to experience low libido, low energy, poor recovery, difficulty building muscle, mood issues, and poor sleep, which is why my urologist and I decided to trial TRT with Tostran gel.

For those of you who started TRT despite having normal or high-normal testosterone levels, did it actually improve your libido, energy, mood, recovery, or sleep? How long did it take before you noticed meaningful changes, especially on testosterone gel? If TRT ultimately wasn't the answer, what turned out to be the real cause of your symptoms?

When I see my urologist again in four weeks, what labs or questions should I prioritize to determine whether TRT is genuinely helping or if I should be looking elsewhere?

And if I do notice benefits, I'm also considering asking him about switching to one of the long-acting depot injections that lasts around two to three months, because applying gel every single day is honestly a bit of a pain in the ass. I'd love to hear about your experiences with gels versus injections and whether making the switch was worth it.

Diving/Snorkeling in October

I will be solo travelling in October and my plan is to dive (and snorkel) since I am alone without my family.

While not diving, it would be great to have a beautiful beach and the possibility for other activities.

What are recommended places during October? Any advice?

I intend to stay 10 days in Thailand.

VMware to Nutanix - Your price per core?

For those, who switched from VMware to Nutanix, what was your price per core for NCI? And for which edition (NCI Pro, Ultimate or even NCP)?

I heard that Nutanix did a bad job in the past with high cores prices, because of their sellers being greedy, but this has been flagged internally, apparently.

Been told about fair prices since this year, where Nutanix started with higher discounts and offered NCI pro for 140$/core and NCI Ultimate for 180$/core.

And their VDI and edge licensing is often 50% cheaper because of the licensing metric (edge uses "per VM" licensing, VDI uses "CCU" licensing no matter how many physical cores).

What's your experience?

PS: VVF is back in soume countries for 200$, but only for smaller customers, and a maximum of 20% discount or something like that. Mostly more expensove than VCF. Anyone?

I hear mixed messages. By October 2027, if a customer needs vSphere 9, you need to purchase VCF subscriptions, correct?

Does this mean we have to adopt the VCF architecture and deploy a management domain (consolidated architecture)? Or can we still use our current vCenter, ESX and VCFO?

Asking for all the regular vSphere-only clients out there.

Can someone clarify?
