front of car wiggling and jumping when micro adjusting or transitioning

the car is super aggressive so maybe that's just why, it's AWD 1390HP 100 ADH with pretty stiff suspension

I had an AO box copy of MH2

so I've been hearing that the AO copy of MH2 was a "leak" but I'm not sure how true this is, but I DISTINCTLY remember as a kid, wanting the new COD (either BO1 or MW3 at the time) and I was in a poor family so ofc we couldn't afford it, so like many times before we go into the GameStop little bargain bin they had with the super cheap games, iykyk, and in there I saw Manhunt 2 and the only reason I picked it up was

  1. the super cool box art

  2. I saw an "AO" at the bottom instead of "M" which I thought was cool

so yeah I bought it, and because I was a dumb kid with no internet to look up walkthroughs I never got past the club mission on PS2.

Question:

exactly how rare is the AO copy of MH2? I've heard it's only a leak because it's from rockstar who sent it to get rerated from ESRB, but there's no way I'd find something that rare in a GameStop bargain bin right?

this was forever ago so I could be misremembering, but like I said I'm pretty certain I only picked up MH2 bc it said AO on the bottom

Finally beat Akinator fair and square

they had sealant for tube tires like for auto-plugging holes, but Tire Bead Sealant is not in the database, this is my first time beating Akinator without using weird shit I don't know much about. I already tried TPMS sensor and a tire valve core, but damn it you guys are too good. big ups to all the tire guys working in the summer heat

Spinoff Idea Far Cry: Insanity

came up with this on the shitter so not the most fleshed out

Protagonist: Vaas Montenegro

Antagonists: Citra (main)

Willis Huntley (Controls CIA under the table weapons deals from airstrips, Citra blackmails him with sextapes with local Rook Island prostitutes, also she could probably kill him now that she controls rook island)

Dennis (Controls import export from harbors, is now much more obsessed and insecure following Citra's ritualistic relationship with Jason)

following the Jason Brody joining Citra ending, disregarding all FC6 lore and disregarding Willis Huntley FC4&5 lore

Citra kills Jason and celebrates her victory also mourning the loss of her best warrior. some spirit anamoly leaves Jasons body whizzing off into the skies surprising even Citra.

Vaas magically awakens from his grave, just a dirt pit as no one was close to Vaas enough to bury him. Jason's full completed Tatau on his arm.

Much more refined parkour, simple but efficient like Dying Light 1, also able to climb trees.

Vaas doesn't ca7rry multiple guns, he picks up 1 gun at a time from people he kills, unable to carry any spare mags, autopickup when empty and some easy to press button when walking over a weapon

Mud mechanic, can at any time trigger an animation where you pour a water bottle into the mud and put it on your body and face, this makes you walk tiptoe style (slowdown penalty) but makes you harder to detect to humans and animals and makes thermal sights unable to see you. also has different takedown animations and weapon holding styles.

Vaas' final stand mechanic, when you reach 0 hp, trigger an extremely fast QTE to dodge 2 or 3 bullets and then super pounce on enemy with machete with I frames

the tutorial is fending off a big ass tiger, where you learn Vaas' new I-frame dodge mechanic to spice up melee combat. Iframe dodge builds rage meter against bullets or melee damage. can't be spammed

Vaas builds a rage meter based on blood splatters (melee and shotguns do the most blood splatter) then Vaas goes Raul Menendez style crazy snorting a bag of cocaine and being near invulnerable while using only the machete with large speed buff and insta kills (longer animation for heavies for balance)

Vaas' sees Rakyat outpost in the distance, thinking it's a pirate outpost he goes there and realizes, then first mission is to take the outpost (introduces mud mechanic here) Rakyat outposts are the new outposts, Rakyat need to be strong but not modern until Citra starts working with Willis Huntley

Duck and cover penalization and run and gun incentives to make Vaas feel more crazed and less tactical:

Cover can be shot through, enemies will shoot through cover often after spotted. killing rapidly starts a combo meter that both builds more rage meter and adds a slight bit of bullet resistance. possibly even XP bonus or maybe currency or something.

Carx's most experienced powerslider. (Powersliding tutorial)

Skip this paragraph for tutorial.

Okay so I was looking through my notepad and forgot a long time ago I planned on making a scripted going away video that taught people how to powerslide, below will be the full unedited script because I got lazy and never recorded the video

Hello all you rear wheel drive peasants, so... you're ready to roll with the powersliders

well I'm probably Carx's most experienced powerslider clocking around 1500 hours with only AWD and 4WD vehicles so I actually want to pass on my knowledge today, as I'm thinking about quitting Carx for a little while or maybe forever.

Without taking up anymore of your time we're going to start with the simple stuff

Can I powerslide on vanilla/controller/sim

the answer to all of these is absolutely yes, just with different slight drawbacks so we'll quickly go over the three

you can absolutely powerslide on vanilla if you know how to manipulate grip on an AWD car which will likely be most of this video

you can powerslide on both controller and sim, though you will not be able to utilize any in-game assists, as they will try to make your AWD car counter steer... it shouldn't take you long to figure out why counter steer doesn't work on an AWD car.

so yes you can powerslide on any input device, but how do I get my car to feel less like an understeering honda fit and more like an angle breaking badass Ken Block car? the answer my friends, is grip.

but before I bore you with tuning, how do we even get an AWD car in Carx? well you'll simply want to choose a car that has AWD or 4WD in real life, then when you hover over the racing setup, it will usually switch the drive train to it's real life AWD counterpart, I recommend for vanilla players to choose a car with high horsepower, as high horsepower will make the car much simpler and easier to handle.

CAN'T RIP WITHOUT GRIP

now before you throw your keyboard through your screen at the sight of the carx dynostand menu, let me break it down the easy way

So the grip we'll be referring today, will be grip on a flat asphalt road as that's 99 percent of all Carx. Grip is extremely important in powersliding because if we misbalance the front and rear grip, we will begin to notice understeer or oversteer. so what factors can we use to change our grip

GRIP

-T width

-T PSI

-Alignment

-gearing and HP (later section)

-adhesion

-suspension

Width / Adh

now tire width and adhesion are going to most likely be our two biggest factors, tire width in carx seems to behave fairly realistically, even the numbers are the same as real life, a wider tire is going to have much more grip.

Now adhesion behaves a little weirdly in CarX, when I want to create a powerslide vehicle made for smoothness, precision, and stunts, I will ALWAYS use 90 adhesion, and for togue builds I use 100 because 90 adhesion in this game seems to be much more floaty and stable, and while running 100 adhesion you will have an extremely hard time keeping the front tires from gaining traction, even with 1400 horsepower.

Alignment

the way your alignment affects your grip on an AWD car should be thought of quite a bit differently from RWD cars. in Carx there is zero information about the surface area of your tires contact patch so even a little bit of extra negative camber is going to be pretty unreliable and unpredictable for grip by itself. my advice here is to always always always keep your rear tires squared out at 0 degrees and your front tires from -2 to 0 degrees depending on how much angle you're pulling on a backwards entry. usually when my car swings a backwards entry way too harshly or with too much oversteer, dialing the front tires in closer to 0 is a tremendous help. please note that if this seems a bit overwhelming, I ran my powerslide builds at 0 degree front and rear for a very long time and the car can be tuned around it pretty easily. we won't be going into any other alignment attributes in this video because the defaults will do, and I'm not smart enough to know what the fuck a kingpin angle is going to make my car do

PSI

your tire's air pressure is going to be used pretty simply, your air pressure should be used as a fine adjustment tool for grip. while changing your tire's width and adhesion are pretty massive changes, your psi is going to be your ace in the hole for determining the tiny barely noticable grip tuning that will come in handy after the building phase and during the testing phase.

Suspension

admittedly this is a form of grip tuning I'm still pretty new to, while I understand what all the suspension sliders do individually, it's quite hard to imagine how it changes how your car slides as a whole. the only way I change suspension, is usually by increasing the stiffness a bit to keep the tires pinned to the asphalt, and also by playing with the antiroll settings which is something I usually have to do when a build is shaking intensely with each micro adjustment to the wheel, you'll know what i mean if you try to tune a high spring length vehicle for powersliding, every small left and right adjustment will have the car shaking like two bears are getting it on in the back

My first time not giving up and uninstalling this game. (SinglePlayer)

and my first ever egg hatch is twins. BTW this breed isn't optimal or anything or from a good line, I just want more higher leveled ankys to do metal runs with, I guess the twins is a sign I won't rage uninstall before beating the boss this time. Also I want a carnivore(s) for clearing out areas for taming, I don't plan on taking on anything bigger than a rex. Would I spend less time taming a few allos, taming a good rex, or taming a spino. I'm playing on like 2x-3x rates

The Boys Season 5 ending I was hoping for.

this was something I was hoping for during the ending, and idea I got from the anime Misfits of Demon Academy (knew it wouldn't happen, but hoped) what if Butcher walks up with the crowbar, has the entire audience thinking "Man this is just like the comic, he's going to split his head!" but then Butcher says "no" and tells Homelander to try living as a human now. Would this have been a cool ending? would Homelander be able to sneak his way around until he found some V, would he kill himself because the hit to his pride would be too much, would another guy seeking revenge on Homelander kill him? Honestly this isn't even my favorite idea for the ending, but I'm tired of trying to use 'head canon' to make the real ending make any sense, they literally took all the worst parts about the comic ending and removed all the best parts of the series

also yes, Butcher would NEVER do this in character, although a part of him probably would want Homelander to suffer

Michael gave away his plan in the prologue SO many times.

after 100 percenting GTA 5 a few times, I realize Michael says things like

Trevor: "That's enough money for us all to enjoy"

Michael: "Depends on how you look at it"

also

Trevor: "There'll be time for grieving later"

Michael: "You got THAT right"

and obviously the whole stick to the fucking plan bit, and staying in the middle of fire is pretty sus too. I'm probably super late to the party on this one but I just thought it was cool
