Who is the biggest artist of all time currently, is it Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, Drake or The Weeknd ?

It’s hard to determine who’s the biggest artists in the modern era cause they are many factors. When I look at the biggest artists currently, I’m curious about which artists has the gravitational pull like an MJ had back in the 80s.

When discussing the biggest artists, should we talk about things outside of the music like Taylor Swift wedding with Travis Kelce that was displayed to the public or Drake’s 20 v1 streaming event he had a few days ago.

Should Superbowls performed like Bad Bunny and The Weeknd count when discussing the biggest artists?
Should records sold, streams sold and concerts sold be included in this discussion or should the recognition of your name being generated by headlines be included?

Should the bigger artists have a youthful fanbase because the youth determines what’s cool in music?
I’m curious to know who’s the biggest artists out of the 4 I’ve included, what does r/popmusic think?

Disclaimer: I meant to write “Who is the biggest artist currently in the modern era” instead of “Who is the biggest artists of all time currently” as the title

Out of all the rookie prospects from the 2026 draft, I am impressed the most by Cam Boozer based on his performances in SL strictly from the eye test. I see a high % of Cam being the 1st all star rookie since Blake Griffin in 2011. What is the % of Cam being an all star rookie next season?

I am confident in Cam Boozer so much because of his high bball IQ and the way he processes the game and I don’t see any flaws in his game. Cam literally does everything on the floor, he rebounds, defends, scores inside and outside, he goes off the dribble or in the post and can play like a wing or a big. I never been so impressed by a prospect like Cam for a longtime, he can be on the level of a Wemby potentially based on his talent.

I know I hype Cam a lot but I want to know from a fan’s perspective, what is the % of Cam being an all star rookie next season from a scale of 0-100%. What are Cam’s strengths and weaknesses that can determine how well or bad he plays his rookie year?

Because the 2026 rookie class is so loaded, who are the other rookies that have a chance to be an all star rookie other than Cam and what is their % of them being one if that’s possible and the r/NBA_Draft can discuss those other rookies as well

I’m exciting about the new Grizzlies team after the team traded Ja Morant and are building the future with Cam Boozer as their franchise cornerstone. So I want to know, How will the Cam Boozer and Zach Edy pairing come to fruition successfully when the 2026-2027 season starts?

I believe the Cam and Edy pairing will work perfectly when they play together but I’m curious at some of the things Grizzlies Coach Tuomas Iisalo will do next season to optimize the success of this pairing.

Also, I want to know what Cam can do with his game to help Edy get easy shots and what Edy can do with his game to get easy shots for Cam. What are the advantages both Cam and Edy can have offensively, defensively and rebounding wise that can help the team win when they play together?

Even though I feel the pairing will work seamlessly, are there any disadvantages with the pairing and if there’s any disadvantages what can Iisalo do to stop those disadvantages from happening in a negative way for the team?

In my opinion, I never seen a frontcourt pairing as physically imposing like the Cam and Edy pairing since the Duncan Robinson Spurs and the Pau Gasol Bynum Lakers. So I want to know from fans: “How successful can the Cam Boozer and Zach Edy pairing be next season?”

Cam Boozer has GOAT potential

After watching these SL games of the Grizzlies, I came to the conclusion that Cam Boozer has the potential to get to MJ and Lebron level.

Cam may not get the early success like an AJ Dybantsa or even a Darryn Peterson cause their teams maybe better especially with AJ having guys like Trae & AD on his team. But Cam Boozer so far has 0 flaws in his game.

Cam literally does everything on the floor. He can score and pass in transition, handle the ball and ball handle in the P&R, roll to the rim as a screener to score or pass, elite playmaker/passer, score on spot up C&S 3s, score on off the dribble pullup 3s, can make the middy, defensive rebound, score on second chance opportunities, post up and can score & pass by moving without the ball.

Cam’s weakness was defense coming out of Duke but he’s playing defense in the SL by his great on ball defense, pickpocketing the ball out of the opponent’s hand and stealing the ball from passing lanes. I maybe exaggerating but Cam can be on a GOAT level just from what I’ve seen so far. Cam is one of the best prospects I’ve ever seen with his IQ and processing, his game is so mature as an 18-19 year old

Concerns about Tuomas Iisalo

I am a casual Grizzlies fan cause I am a fan of Cam Boozer and I believe he will be a great player. But, I heard some info about the HC Tuomas Iisalo where he doesn’t play his starters 30+ minutes and plays his starters under 30.

To me if he does stuff like that then he should be fired or the front office has to demand him to play his starters more minutes. To me that is not winning basketball if you don’t play your starters minutes.

I’m scared that Iisalo will stifle the development of Cam if he limits his minutes. Also, Cam has a lower chance of winning ROTY if he does that and that gets me less excited about Cam and the Grizz cause Cam needs to show his full potential by playing a lot of minutes.

If Iisalo has a system where he doesn’t play his starters minutes, then I understand why Ja Morant was disconnected with the team cause no star player is going to cosign that. Wemby is a superstar that plays under 30 minutes but Wemby has an injury history and a fragile body being 7’5 who’s a skinny lanky guy. Cam is 6’9 250 and can handle the load of playing a lot of minutes with how big and strong he is as an 18 year old kid.

I am concerned about this coach system if the rumor is true that he plays his starters under 30 minutes. If the rumor is true, is that concerning for the Grizzlies fans and if he doesn’t adjust that system that no head coaches uses should Iisalo get fired for it?

Can the Grizzlies be a playoff team for the 2026-2027 season?

I’m not sure what lineup Tuomas Iisalo will make for the Grizzlies next season but I have a predication of what the lineup will look like next year.

Here’s the lineup:
Starter- PG Ty Jerome, SG Cedric Coward, SF Jaylen Wells, PF Cam Boozer, C Zach Edy

Bench- PG Cam Spencer, SG KCP, SF GG Jackson, PF Jerami Grant C Isiah Stewart

A lot of people have doubts about the Grizzlies next season due to Ja Morant getting traded but I feel the Grizzlies have a chance to make the playoffs next year. After seeing Cam Boozer’s 1st game of the Summer League, I feel optimistic Cam will have immediate impact right away.

I believe even without Ja, MEM has a chance to make the playoffs based on Cam Boozer’s ability to improve the team’s wins and the surrounding pieces around Cam. Do the Grizzlies fans agree with me or not?

How much % does Nas success is owed to Steve Stoute looking back at the 30th anniversary of It Was Written?

Nas early on had success with Illmatic with the help of Mc Serch, Premo, Large Professor, QTip and many others. But by the time Nas went to his sophomore album IWW, it seemed like Nas became an international mainstream commercial rapper with singles like “If I Ruled the World.”

When did Shaq’s prime end and how did Shaq’s prime end?

Shaq prime was dominant from his Orlando days to his Lakers days and Shaq was even more unstoppable during his 3 peat years.

But things got weird after the 3rd chip in ‘02, by the 02-03 season and the 03-04 season Shaq weight dramatically changed with the weight ballooning to close to 400 pounds, had a toe injury and the tension Shaq had with Kobe starting growing rapidly during those 2 years.

I want to know if it was possible for Shaq’s prime to continue after ‘02 and if Shaq couldve won more chips with the Lakers being that dominant force in ‘03 and ‘04. Could Shaq 5 peated if he was in better shape or the tension between Shaq & Kobe was too high for that to be possible? Did Kobe really make the Lakers lose the ‘04 Finals with his bad shot selection or was Shaq at fault too with his defense being really bad in that series?

I felt like Shaq shouldve won as many chips as MJ and I felt Shaq was harder to guard than MJ in his prime especially during those 3 peat years. Was Shaq’s prime being almost over after ‘02 out of his control or was it in his control to prevent the prime from being over?

People said Shaq was back in his prime in the ‘04-05 season in Miami by being 2nd in MVP behind Nash but I felt like Shaq didnt seem like the same dominant force in Miami like he was with the Lakers.

Leave your thoughts on this, I want to know people’s opinion on this

If the Jazz draft Cam Boozer, is it possible for Cam to be in the starting lineup with their frontcourt being jammed up together?

It seems like the starting lineup for the Jazz seems too jammed up together. If Cam gets drafted to the Jazz, I don’t want Cam to be in a Dylan Harper situation where he’s coming off the bench playing limited minutes despite the production looking like he should be a starter.

I don’t think it would work but if Cam would be the starting SF and have Markkanen as the SG, would that work with the starting lineup of: PG George SG Markkanen SF Cam PF JJJ C Walker. I say Markkanen as the SG instead of Cam cause Markkanen is a better shooter, a 7 foot SG is hilarious 😂. I doubt that starting lineup works, just creating a hypothetical but I’m asking “If Cam is the future, who should the Jazz trade for to make room for Cam Boozer in the starting lineup and build around him?”

Cameron Boozer (Duke) // Inverted Pick & Rolls

How great can Cam Boozer be at the NBA with his ability to use the P&R as a ball handler? When I see Cam’s ability to use inverted P&Rs as a ball handler in these highlights, it makes me put Cam at a higher level as a prospect compared to AJ, DP and Wilson.

I can’t say other prospects are better than Cam based on these highlights alone. Cam being so effective as a screen setter as a pick & pop guy who can shoot the 3, attack closeouts/attack off the catch or roll to the rim, being effective as a back to the basket post player and can score on second chance opportunities with the caveat of him being an effective scoring & playmaking threat as a ball handler using inverted P&Rs, how can you not say Cam isnt the best prospect in the next upcoming 2026 draft and why isnt Cam the #1 pick?

I respect AJ being considered the #1 pick but don’t yall think Cam is better than AJ with the versatile skills he has alone

Can AJ Dybantsa and Cam Boozer be the next all star rookie since 2011 Blake Griffin?

There hasn’t been many all star rookies in recent times since Blake Griffin in 2011. There’s been rookies that been superstars out the gate like Shaq, David Robinson, Duncan, Blake, MJ, Bird, Kareem, Oscar, Elgin Baylor and Elvin Hayes.

I believe AJ can be an all star his rookie year because of his athleticism and his advanced skillset with his shot creation, handles, midrange game, post game and footwork being 6’10 with guard like skills. Also, if AJ plays in Washington he has Trae Young who’s an elite passer that can get AJ easy shots.

I believe Cam can be an all star his rookie year based on his skillset being a 6’9 250 pound big that can handle the ball, stretch the floor from 3, has passing ability and is a walking mismatch. If Cam gets drafted by the Grizzlies, Cam can dominate with Ja Morant giving him easy looks. Also, having Zach Eady next to Cam can help Cam so much especially with inverted P&Rs and I can see Cam getting so many easy shots slashing to the rim with that and that will give opposing teams issues with using inverted P&Rs with Cam Boozer.

Am I jumping the gun and totally offbase about my assumptions that these 2 players can be rookie all stars or is it possible that these 2 player can be rookie all stars?
