So I’m watching Part 2 of the reunion. And when Brittany is talking about why it was ok for Janet and Jason to have Jax over for Christmas…..at one point it cuts to Kristen and she leans over to Luke and says “Watch Brittany with her hands”. And kinda gives a snarky look.
Anyone know what that’s in reference to?
And it reminded me. Everyone talks about their most horrific horror scene in this movie.
And of course, >!Charlie getting her head whacked off like a sadistic game of Tee-ball!< is one of them.
Along with >!Annie playing piano with her neck!< as another.
But what are your other scenes from the movie that give you the heebie jeebies?

I have been a couple days behind. And I’ve read all of the outrage over how Katie is handling the Dylan situation. And now I’m caught up.
Look at this from Katie’s side. She’s got a hurt son. She’s had nothing but good experiences from Electra. And she knows nothing about Dylan, whom she just found lurking around Will’s house.
So isn’t this Katie just being a protective Mama Bear until she has more context?
I don’t blame her for being suspicious about Dylan given the limited info she actually knows at this point.
And I’m still Team Dylan for the record.
So we all agree that the hideous thing on Steffy is….well hideous.
But I also noticed in the last two days that even the edges where the shower curtain meets the mesh along her collar bone? There are frays all along it. It is the WORST sewing job. It looks like how your jeans start to look around the bottom hem line. All rough and frayed.

It’s amazing to me how many people BLOCK in this sub instead of maybe….ohhh I don’t know, ENGAGING in a conversation with someone you don’t necessarily agree with? That’s the adult thing to do.
Someone here started a thread asking for a new rule and then proceeded to accuse a lot of people of doing things that not everyone, if anyone, is actually doing. So I’m doing the same, starting a thread for a new rule….since said person blocked me instead of responding like a normal person.
I’ve never encountered such childish behavior in other subs. There’s a lot of people in this sub that really need to grow up. 🙂
So I’ve been obsessing over trying to find a free stream of Solaris 2002 for months, because I adore that movie and haven’t seen it in ages.
I’m trying not to keep renting movies since I’m on a massive movie kick lately and those charges add up. All I can find is the 1972 version.
Anyway, I was taking a break from life duties today and decided to rewatch Funny Games. (Hence me posting this in horror, I know it’s more psychological thriller but whatever).
Halfway thru Funny Games, Solaris popped back in my head out of the blue out of NOWHERE…so I said screw it, paused Funny Games, and bought Solaris. Then watched it twice.
Went back to Funny Games. And after watching the 2nd half for a bit…. about 10 minutes left in it…>!one of the villains (Peter) starts talking to Paul about Kelvin and his dilemma on whether to stay in the real world (earth) or the copy (fiction) world Solaris. He doesn’t SAY Solaris. But I’m all, wait a minute.!< >!😂!<
HOW COINCIDENTAL IS THAT??
Two obscure (for the most part) movies I happen to watch back to back within an hour of each other, neither I have seen in YEARS….and one references the other in the dialogue.
I know that’s the very definition of a coincidence….but that one was crazy!

Don’t let Rachel (Naomi Watts) around anything of value. She’ll break it.
She broke Noah’s movie reel equipment. She broke the library’s movie reel equipment. She started to climb a worker’s HIGH stray ladder (liability anyone?). She messed with and spooked a horse in a trailer on a ferry to a point it got loose and ran amok and plunges to its death.
And that’s in the first 30 minutes. 😂
Ridge’s sucker punch to Bill is how it’s done. That crazy one Will delivered to RJ weeks back was laughable. Crew Morrow did a better job earlier in the week but I’m still giggling over the love tap he gave a while back.
Yeah, I’m not happy with Ridge lately, but I will deliver a very unpopular opinion and say I still love Ridge. Dumb decisions and all. 😜
Head tilt aside, I think Thorsten Kaye is a good actor…..but ANYONE is better than Ron Moss. 😂
Well now we know why Hope and Liam’s cabin has become MIA.
Hopefully, they didn’t write that line into the script for nothing and we’ll see a new and improved cabin soon!

So my next movie I’m fixing to watch is Radius.
I like to compare the small amount of info I know or read about the synopsis before going in…to whatever first comes to mind. Just from the quick description I’ve read…my first thought was M Night Shyamalan’s “Unbreakable”. 🤷♀️ we’ll see.

I was reading some posts just now on best horror imagery that stuck with you. And for some reason a scene came to mind that isn’t imagery, it’s just the shock that turns the movie on its head.
I’m not sure how well M Knight Shyamalan’s The Visit is regarded here. I actually found the movie deeply disturbing. And the scene that did it for me was obviously the twist.
When the kids are filming for their amateur documentary and they are on the phone with their mom. And the son shows a shot of their grandparents to her, so she can see how strange they are acting?
I flipped my shit when the mom, as calmly as she could possibly say it, said something to the effect of:
“Kids listen. Don’t freak out when I tell you this. But …those aren’t your grandparents.”
It’s not the best twist of all time and call me gullible but I did NOT see that coming.
I gasped and my mouth flew open.
I LOVED that scene.
So what are some of your favorite twists?
Somebody please tell me why he’s still on this show. Watching him today was so creepy and unnecessary. Trying to seduce Deke into telling him who he’s working with at Logan? To what end? Wasn’t his current story trying to get Dylan to help him win Deke back? The writers need to plant him in a lane and have him stick in it.
His “villain” vibe is ALL OVER THE PLACE from his first scandal up until now. He’s just sticking his nose in everything. They need to do better and give him some direction or get rid of him. Ugh.
I’ve been on a massive horror binge lately. So much so, I have made myself take a few days of breathing room because I’m getting really jumpy lately. 😂

Ok. I’m on a horror movie binge. Specifically horror movies that emotionally traumatize and fracture you and wreck your soul. Basically taking up space in my head rent free.
It’s almost 4pm. So plenty of daylight left.
I’m thinking of checking The Dark and the Wicked out.
Mind you: I’m still traumatized by Hereditary (watched last week).
Am I gonna be ok to watch this other movie?

This showdown between Brooke and Katie is long overdue. And as much as the writers keep playing up Brooke’s condescending comments to Katie about Logan (the company), Katie’s “jealousy” of Brooke, and her repeated remarks about how Logan will fail…….
I REALLY hope the writers follow through with what they are setting up and make Logan a huge success.
Otherwise the writing they are giving Brooke right now is a complete waste of time.
