Republican Buckingham Supervisor Jon Forrest issues public apology for knowingly lying about opponent and local business competitor during 2023 campaign
Township Supervisor Jon Forrest was forced to admit he made up entire "quid pro quo" conversations he used on a flyer against his opponent and Froehlich's Farm.
After winning the election, Forrest used his position to work towards, and eventually receive, a court injunction canceling Froehlich's Farm's extremely popular Fall Festival, which had run for over a decade.
Rumor is this letter is part of a settlement including a $65,000.00 payment. Forrest was accused of lying on flyers during the 2013 election cycle as well.
Jon Forrest owns Buckingham Valley Vineyards and Winery. He has refused to resign.
