Of what use is a Maraga presidency without legislative backing, nothing about his agenda will make it through parliament without marshalling numbers. They can even impeach him at a whim. He couldn't even get anyone to try vying in the several by-elections held, give DCP their 🌹, they have thrown their hat in the field and come up victorious.
Rigathi may not be everyone's cup of tea ☕ ,but he is doing what Maraga only dreams of, solidify your base and come to the table with something to show, to now what does Maraga have to show? He doesn't have any base to speak of or any loyalists.

Today I went to Mt Kenya, leaving Nairobi at 4 am to beat those pesky NTSA chaps in VW vans by the roadside and start my hike up to Mackinders Camp by 7 am...for some strange reason KWS want to start issuing a 3 day pass for those going up to Lenana peak, which is a day dash if you're fit enough, the never ending money grab by wantam.
I split my goals into short (1yr) mid (3yr) and long term (5yr) and evaluate where I am and where I'm going. There are areas I'm doing well in ahead of my set target and others got neglected along the way, getting older gives you perspective of what's important to hold onto, continue reaching out for, and what you can gracefully let go.

The High Court has declared that presidential elections should be held in the 5th year and not after the 5th year. The Constitution does not confer a 5 year term. As such, the elections should have been held in August 2026 and not in 2027

When you see a funds drive for those big projects, mtu ametoa 100K, very sure he has interests in the project hio contract ya wiring, chuma etc itamkujia
I've been seeing On shoes are on a marketing spree in Kenya but their choice of influencers have me thinking.... They have recruited influencers from We Run Nairobi and these are bougie guys who run 15-20km at diva pace and don't really put the shoe through the wringer or would give advice to a runner who does elite level running, they'd know things about shoes that casual weekend warriors will never know.
I see they've also got Abel Mutua onboard for trail running.... I'm what world would Abel put the shoe through its paces to know how it performs, from his runs he does about 8min per km.
Why can't the On team onboard ultra runners like Kiplimo who runs up Mt Kenya 3 times in a day for the thrill of it, has run from Nairobi to Kilimambogo for the heck of it and to Kilimanjaro for fun.
That's someone who's advice on shoes holds water to his community of runners and followers who care about the nuances of running shoes that casual runners would never know. Or On can onboard those who do ultra long walks to show how the shoe holds up after an 80km day walk, or walk from Nairobi to Mombasa and show how the shoe has held up after such a stint, they have their audience who trust their recommendation.
Whatever We Run Nairobi do, your casual sneaker can run that 15-20km and still hold up good, it tells you nothing about that On shoe.
Or is it like what Mercedes Kenya have done with Caroline Mutoko to influence other similar thinking ladies to consider the GLE? And not Waigera na camera mani wake????
