So I joined a lobby that had absolutely rediculous settings:

- 15 second meeting time (5 discussion 10 vote)

- One task

- And appearently the kill cooldown was low too?

Genuinely how the fuck are they playing like that? You cant discuss anything!!

And the imps always left cuz they inevitably got caught.

And the host and other people had the gall to complain about the imps being noobs... like come on youre barely giving them time to do anything.

I had one round where the imps insta killed around the circle right from the game start... that was unbelievable.

Who in their right mind actually enjoys playing like that?? How does someone reach the point to be this detached from the experience??

a story can have a "bad" message, it can have a disturbing message, because we're not 12 years old. also often times a "bad" message can super easily be reframed into a warning anyway.

also dismissing everything else that happens in a story for the sake of criticizing the message seems like a very sad way to engage with art in my opinion. instead of refusing to engage, why don't you try to find out why the message is what it is. a lot of art exists to explore things you can't in real life, so flattening art into something that should mimic the real world (but only the good parts) is SO boring.

I wish they gave the crewmates more unique names. Ive been thinking that the colors of the crewmates are more like surnames or designations... i find it a little lazy actually.

In future season id love if they explored some other naming conventions for the crewmates. Because they are gonna run out of colors real fast.

I personally like being able to actually do discussions at meetings

So when im host i set discussion time to 45 - 60 seconds and voting time to like 90.

Im aware that long "discussion time" can be annoying in cases where its clear and shut - so wanting the voting to become available fast is understandable.

What i dont understand is people hopping into my game and telling me to set voting time to 15 seconds.

If meetings are short nothing can actually be discussed. Remember, theres people who take longer to type! (I'm one of them)

This culture and fixation on fast player movements and fast meetings everything fast fast fast is literally so stupid. Are you really a true player of among us if you can't be be bothered to take time to take each game seriously?

Ideally people should use all the meetings to discuss where they were who they were with what they were doing and future plans. And also where the body was and who else was there.

Honestly I'm tired of all these dopamine junkies who just wanna be impostor all the time and dont care about the game enough to stay when they are dead.

Also for some reason my chat is still censored even though i have it turned off?? And the word "speed is scensored too" which is dumb af cuz the game settings literally have "player speed" so people make requests like "increase speed" it becomes "increase speed" (i dont care that its a drug name its literally a word for velocity first and its featured in your settings... please fix up the game instead of making animated shows, innersloth!)

There seem to be a lot of players who don't know about the "chat language" tags.

Whe i played the game after years of inactivity i kept seeing people who seemingly didnt know how to speak english despite being in an english language chat. This drags down game enjoyment everytime. Because of the language barrier. It got annoying fast.

Innersloth should probably make it more obvious for players to switch their language or perhaps even default the game search filter to the currently set language of the game, so they dont end up in the english search on default and keep joining english lobbys.

ALSO Lobbys dont have names anymore, which is a little frustrating too... they should add those back
