Perfect Day Mexico rejected by Mexican Government

Oof, looks like Mexico squashed plans for Perfect Day Mexico. This destination looked like it was really going to be something.

Curious to see how the company stats unwinding all the press around it. Was looking forward to possibly visiting on Hero of the Seas in 2028.

Shareholder OBC always denied

Anyone else have issue with submitting for the Shareholder OBC when both you and your spouse total 100 shares combined?

We always cruise together and are on the same reservation. I submit my Fidelity brokerage statement showing she owns 50 shares and I own 50 shares and yet always get a 'to 100 shares' denial. I know this is allowed as long as both are on the reservation.

Betting I have to call directly, but trying to gauge if anyone else has had this happen.

I hate that I have become this person, but the amount of times I have called the Kimpton Banneker in D.C. and IHG, which I opened an official case to get a refund for almost $800 they overcharged me for the past 3-4 weeks is insane.

I had paid for a 3 night stay through Perks at Work back in January. Upon the end of the stay, I would be responsible for ~$30/day resort fee and valet parking...cool, understood. I saw a pending charge for the full 3 night stay amount on my credit card the morning I was leaving and the front desk person assured me that was temporary and would be adjusted to what I actually owed minus the 3rd party payment. That was a lie.

So here we are, 5+ phone calls since, them claiming me they started a refund back on 4/18 for $800 that I still have yet to see. My credit card company confirms they have sent nothing but Kimpton tells me they refunded me. Opened an official case with IHG and they are supposed to contact me within 24-48 hours. 2+ weeks and have not heard from them at all.

Giving them a few more days before I dispute the whole charge and they get nothing. Complete ineptness by a hotel chain I really like and guaranteed loss of a customer as they will not be on my list of hotels I frequent anymore.

So great to have a good chicken option on a Sunday. Usually bring some to my mom and an area assisted living facility since it is her fave.

Word of caution, I love spicy food and can handle heat. The Hot level (4 out of 5) is very hot, even for me. Can’t imagine what Extreme is like.

A little pricey, but I think is better than ChikFilA. Good batter to chicken ratio, actually crunchy. Crinkle fries were quite good as well.
