Anyone hear of this knitting needle brand for bamboo circulars?

I was searching for bamboo circular knitting needles for an upcoming international trip (where airport security differs on whether metal ones are allowed), but the only ones I found on Amazon that were the exact size I need (No. 2 US, 12 inches) was from a company called “Chiaogoo”. I read they get good reviews, but because it’s new to me, I figured I’d ask the Reddit community amount them.

NOTE: I’ve previously purchased Clover Takumi bamboo needles, but didn’t find the size I need.

How to access GE Cafe dishwasher diagnostic codes?

We have a GE Cafe dishwasher that's about 4 years old. It's recently become more and more unreliable with first the detergent not dissolving completely, then detergent residue on the bottoms of glasses/mugs, and now it doesn't clean the dishes well. We've tried cleaning the filter, putting on the hot water in the sink first, checking the water temperature, and clearing any clogged spray arm holes (there was only one).

We're at our wits end with trying "homegrown" solutions, but found out we could run diagnostic codes to see what's wrong. The problem is that all of the instructions we've found for accessing the diagnostics call for us to press the "Select Cycle" button...but there isn't one on this model.

Anyone have a clue how we'd access this?

ETA: We also tried:

  1. Different detergents (Finish and Cascade) in different forms (pods and powders).

  2. Have run cleaning cycles with two different brands of dishwasher cleaner products.

  3. Running it on a different cycle than usual (ran the Normal cycle instead of our usual "Auto").

All to no avail.

Specific model is CDT875P2N7S1

Tuscan Grille on Silhouette, not up to Celebrity standards

Just got off Silhoulette on Sunday (7 day to Bermuda). We celebrated my birthday by going to Tuscan Grille but we were both disappointed in both the food and service. Nobody really came over to us to ask if everything was OK, the steaks we ordered (a ribeye and a filet) were both kind of tough and hubby's was fatty, and tables where people ate and left were left dirty. (The one next to us was dirty there a good 30 minutes before someone came to clean it.

Anyone else experience this? Great cruise otherwise, by the Tuscan wasn't worth it this time.

ETA: We just wanted to leave at that point, so we didn't make a fuss about it, but we did put it in the post-cruise survey. Just wanted to know if anyone else experienced it, or if this was a one-off.

Charm bracelets...are they a "thing" again?

I have a vintage charm bracelet I inherited. The chain is gold as are the charms. It's been sitting in the vault for years because the charms aren't tremendously meaningful to me and because charm bracelets haven't been a thing for a long while. Are they back in vogue? I've seen a few postings here regarding a few charm bracelets and necklaces, hence my question.

What's a realistic amount to expect?

Hi all. Don't know if this is the correct sub for this question; please let me know if there's a better one.

I have a fair amount of sterling silver jewelry (stamped 925). A few are vintage pieces (~1950s), and the rest are things I've accumulated over the years that now that silver is so high, I want to sell. I know the current price of silver, but I also know that doesn't translate to what you actually get when you sell sterling.

Can anyone give me a rough percentage of what I could expect? Like if silver was $2.40 USD/gr and sterling is .925 silver, and then considering refining costs at maybe 15% (huge guess), I'd get an equation for 1 gr of like
2.40 x 0.925 = 2.22 x 0.85 (inverse of 15%) =$1.887/gm

But that's probably really simplistic. I just want a rough idea before I go to various jewelry stores/silver dealers.

Thanks.
