Probably just an old man shouting at clouds here but suddenly yesterday my broadband suddenly started showing at "limited connectivity" on my devices. Phones preferring to connect to network and playstation not working etc.

I did all the usual fixes, rests, check cables etc. Nothing has worked.

Called and they ran some tests, said they couldn't see any issue. When I run a speed test it does appear to be fine 279/49.

I'm now to wait 72 hours and apparently they are going to be in touch, not holding my breath.

Anyone have a similar experience or know any fixes?

I don't know about anyone else, but looking at the clips of the cup final again after Mitovs departure is just depressing me.

Polvara, Clarkson, (an interested Palaversa), Morris, Gueye, Shinnie, McKenzie, Sokler, Mitov... Yes, at times we were fucking shite and Thelins record was latterly extremely pish. But it felt like the majority really got it.

Fast forward to today, Lyons, Mayo, Olysania, Yogane, Happe, Cadden, Aremu, Armstrong.

How many would you swap back if you could?

Olysania for Gueye

Mayo for Polvara

I've literally just taken random names here, but almost all of them.

I mean I gave lots of them a slagging at times both from the terraces and from my house and I know we weren't great and maybe it was a personal thing but it felt like there was hope, a plan for change, a passion from both fans and player.

Now we are following the model of mid to bottom level all premiership teams. Battling for survival rather than striving for success, playing eye bleeding horror ball. Probably scraping top 6 but getting battered by the top 3 or 4 all season.

I want to be excited for the season ahead, instead I'm already thinking this might be my least engaged season in about 30 years.

Thoughts?

I usually play ZB squad fills.

I kind of thought the sprite thing was fun at first, found myself pursuing them and the little bonuses each provided.

However, the longer it goes on I am finding myself less inclined to play, because the competition to actually achieve victory royale is now for many, very much the secondary purpose.

Squads are scattered, many seem to leave half way through a game (I'm assuming having levelled up a sprite). For the first time last night I was targeted off the bus for a gold Sprite.

People are willing to risk waiting for the extraction crate when there are only 10 players left, or are happy to die in the storm to extract their sprite.

I mean I'm not the fun police, "you do you" and all that, but it's definitely taking away from my enjoyment of the game.

Looking forward to these wee critters being nothing but a memory!

Could not hit a barn door with a banjo pretty much sums up my accuracy with this thing, from pretty much any range. Yet I consistently get wiped full health and shield in one shot with it. I mean, good on whoever's got the skill but it's frustrating as all hell!

Not necessarily looking for a squad, although open to it, but looking for advice. My annoyances are:-

4x fill game starts, immediately one or two members leave.

If you don't reboot immediately, squad members leave.

Members who have no intention of rebooting anyone, just running past vans.

Solo players in squad fills. Fair enough, but why aren't you just playing solo? Literally just playing their own game, even when you seek them out or happen across them they just continue on as if they are solo (although funny when they try and shoot you for ages before realising it isn't damaging you!)

I know what you're going to say - get some reliable people together for a squad. BUT I don't really get the concept.

I've played with a few good squadmates who have ended up friending me, inviting me to parties etc. but when I get there do I have to just wait for ages for all parties to finish their games and click ready? Lost patience yesterday when someone appeared to be tinkering with their skin, outfit, set up or whatever we call it for about 10 mins!

N.b relatively new to the game, have a job/ kids etc so my time playing can be sporadic.

Using the humidifier I wake up every night with this thing whistling in assuming due to condensation getting stuck in the tiny exhaust holes. Does anyone have a fix for this? It's driving me mad!

I watched the Motherwell v Celtic game last night with not a hint of jealousy, but a massive dose of it. Despite the result not going their way Motherwell were excellent. There was a 20 minute spell in that second half you'd have thought they had 20x the budget of the team they were up against.

Would JBA have come to Aberdeen in January or even November (when it clearly wasn't working for JT) if Dave had trebled his wages or something? We'll never know.

But having turgidly sat through all but one of Aberdeen's games this season (both in the stand and on TV) it's hard not to wonder.

That's it really, an appreciation post for the job he's done with a micro budget, journeymen and unfancied players.

Personally I can't take to Frigid Forest. I don't know if the white makes it harder for my old eyes to see 😂 or if there are just too many tiers to navigate but I hate the place. If I'm playing a fill squad, often the team just wants to hang out there which for the life of me I can't understand.

The winner is (I think it's called Tiptop terrace), basically the forested area. If I start way out at the lumber yard it's generally empty and there are a ton of chests I can harvest before I get into it.

Having said all that, my preferred landing spot is the fishing pond just up the hill from Dark Dominion. Get a couple of decent guns before I begin. Although it can be quite competitive as it's a popular landing spot.

Kind of feels like there should be a bowling club or something for all us older players to hang out!

Anyone else's have preferences?
