got scammed by a Facebook work-from-home handwriting job. Already filed a cyber complaint. What should I do now?

Hey everyone, I need some advice because I’m honestly confused about what I should do next.

Yesterday I saw a Facebook ad for a work-from-home handwriting/copywriting job. The ad said they provide weekly assignments, there is no daily work, and that payment is guaranteed.

I contacted them through the Telegram details given in the ad. They sent me a Telegram channel/account called HANDWRYTTEN BOOKS PUBLICATION and the handle was @FREELANCE_HANDWRITING_JOB9509.

I asked them whether the publication/job was genuine before paying anything. They assured me that it was 100% real and trusted.

They initially asked me for ₹501 as a registration fee. They sent me a QR code and I made the payment.

After I paid, they sent me a registration confirmation with my name on it and claimed that my registration was successfully completed. The document mentioned something called “The Federation of Indian Publishers”.

Then suddenly they told me that I needed to pay around ₹1,999 as a file charge to proceed further. They said the amount was refundable and that I would receive it back along with my earnings/refund.

I questioned them about the ₹1,999 and asked them to clarify/refund the amount, but instead they kept asking me to make the additional payment.

At this point I realised something was seriously wrong. I did NOT pay the ₹1,999.

I have screenshots of everything — the original Facebook advertisement, Telegram conversation, their Telegram profile/channel, QR code, payment receipt, registration document, and their messages asking for the additional ₹1,999.

The ₹501 payment was made through UPI to the payment details they provided. I have the complete transaction proof and UTR saved.

I have also kept the phone number used by the person, but I'm not posting it here because I don't want to expose personal information publicly. I have already provided the number and other details to the authorities.

What I have done so far

I have already filed a complaint on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal under Online Financial Fraud → UPI Related Fraud.

I submitted the transaction details, Telegram handle, suspect payment details and other available evidence.

Now I want to know what I should do next.

Can someone who has dealt with a similar scam please guide me?

Should I also raise a fraud dispute with my bank/UPI app?

Should I visit the local cyber crime police station with all the screenshots?

Is there any realistic chance of recovering the ₹501?

Should I separately report their Telegram account and the Facebook advertisement?

Is there anything else I should immediately do after filing the cyber complaint?

I know ₹501 isn't a huge amount, but I don't want them to keep doing this to other people. The fact that they ask for a small registration amount first and then demand a much larger “refundable” file charge is what makes me suspicious.

I have all the original evidence and can provide it to the authorities. I just don't want to post my personal details publicly.

If anyone has experienced something similar or knows the proper next steps, please help. 🙏

Fuck Flipkart madarchod, behenchod, saale harami chutiye! ⚠️ Jo bhi electronics ya koi bhi cheez Flipkart se kharidne ki soch raha hai — abhi samajh le warna teri bhi gaand marenge ye log

Bhaiyon aur beheno, abhi se samajh jao. Ye log pure ke pure harami hain. Main khud fuck ho gaya inke chakkar mein.
Product pasand nahi aaya, return karna hai? Bhool jao.
Return nahi karte saale. Customer support? Hah! Pehle toh sirf bot milta hai jo mithu ki tarah wahi ek line repeat karta rehta hai. Agar kisi tarah real human se baat ho bhi gayi toh wo behn ke laude bhi ek hi cheez rote hain — “Return nahi hoga, service centre leke jao.”
Arre bhen ke chut, itna hi drama karna tha toh main offline dukaan se kyun nahi le leta? Khud mere ghar bhej ke check karwa lo na madarchodo? Nahi, inko toh sirf customer ki gaand marna hai aur paise khaane hain. Arre bhenchod, agar service centre bhejna hi tha toh main offline kyun nahi kharid leta? Khud mere paas bhej dete product check karne ke liye? Nahi bhai, unko toh bas paise chahiye, customer ko chutiya banana hai.
Sirf jab Twitter pe tag karke chillao tab thoda harkat hoti hai, warna zero. Isse pehle maine socha tha accha option hai Flipkart, ab lagta hai sabse bada scam hai.
Strongly recommend — Amazon se hi kharido. Wahan return process actually kaam karta hai, support bhi sunta hai. Flipkart wale madarchodo se door raho, trust me, paisa waste + time waste + dimag kharab.
Saale ek baar bhi mat try karna. Maine galti ki, ab aap mat karna.

Ye log pure ke pure randi ke bache, gandu, harami hain. Ek baar bhi mat try karna Flipkart. Maine galti ki, ab tum mat karna. Paisa dubega, time waste hoga aur dimag ki bhi maa chod denge ye saale.

How many of you are doing an MBA in Jabalpur or planning to join this year? Need honest reviews.

Just curious to know about the MBA crowd in Jabalpur.
How many of you are currently pursuing an MBA in Jabalpur?
Which college are you studying in?
If you’re planning to join this year, which college are you taking admission in and why?
It would be great if current students could also share a short review of their college (faculty, placements, internships, campus life, etc.).
Just trying to understand what most people are choosing and hear some genuine experiences. Thanks!

Jabalpur walon se ek update chahiye

Jabalpur walo, jo bhi Ranital, Gol Bazar ya Gorakhpur side se ho, batao zara abhi wahan mela/pradarshani lagi hui hai ya nahi? Wahi jisme jhule, khane-pine ke stalls aur shopping wale stalls hote hain.
Agar kisi ko pata ho to bata dena jo uss side hai

▲ 2 r/AMU

Has anyone here previously appeared for the AMU MBA entrance exam?

I’m from MP (near Jabalpur) and I’m a bit stressed about the exam centre allotment.
I selected Aligarh as my 1st preference and Kolkata as my 2nd preference.
Do candidates usually get their 1st preference centre?
Also:
Is the exam generally conducted in a single shift?

What are the usual timings?

How many exam centres/colleges are usually used in Aligarh?

I need to book train tickets early, so that’s why I’m asking.
Would really appreciate if someone who has already appeared for the exam could share their experience 🙏
